What you’ll do
As Giga Energy’s Recruiting Coordinator, you’ll play a critical role in scaling our fast-growing team. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring a smooth, high-touch experience for every candidate while keeping our recruiting operations running efficiently.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, loves process, and enjoys creating exceptional experiences for candidates and hiring teams alike.
Where you’ll work
If based outside of our Houston, Long Beach or San Francisco hubs, this role will be based remotely from your home office. You must be willing to occasionally travel to one of our hub offices 3 days out of the month.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate interview scheduling across multiple time zones and stakeholders
- Communicate clearly and promptly with candidates to confirm logistics, share details, and answer questions.
- Ensure every candidate has a smooth, professional experience from first contact to offer.
- Maintain accurate candidate data in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Support offer letter preparation, reference checks, and background screenings.
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to track progress across open roles.
- Help manage recruiting inboxes, job postings, and candidate communications
- Prepare interview materials and coordinate on-site or virtual interview logistics.
- Support recruiting events (career fairs, virtual events, internal interview training).
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve candidate experience.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in recruiting coordination, HR operations, or administrative support (internships count!).
- Strong communication and organizational skills — able to juggle multiple priorities with attention to detail.
- Comfort with scheduling tools (e.g., Google Calendar) and ATS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse).
- A friendly, professional approach — you’re the first impression of our team!
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Bonus points
- Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or technical recruiting environment.
- Familiarity with HRIS tools, e-signature platforms (e.g Dropbox Sign), or reporting dashboards.
- Interest in growing into a Recruiter or People Operations role.

Pay Transparency
The range provided below is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning it includes both the commission / bonus target and annual base salary for the role (if applicable). This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Giga and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include 401(k) plan plus subsidized medical, dental, and vision benefits.
Salary Range
$68,919 - $82,673 USD
