Where you’ll work

This role will be based in our San Francisco office. You must be willing to work in the office full-time, outside of our bi-weekly WFH Fridays. 

What you’ll do

We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Events Coordinator to join our team! This role is all about bringing our company events to life and helping our team stay connected. You'll work closely with the Senior Events Manager to handle event logistics from start to finish. A small part of the role (10%) will also involve general office administration to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Trade Show and Event Coordination: Lead and support the research and coordination efforts for trade shows, meetups, and various company events.
  • Logistics Management: Manage all aspects of shipping logistics for trade show materials, booth properties, and collateral.
  • Travel and Booking: Coordinate hotel and travel bookings for staff, including flights and room blocks.
  • Budget Support: Support budget tracking by collecting vendor invoices, monitoring expenses, and updating event budget sheets.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate happy hours and dinners, including sourcing venues, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships.
  • Office Management: Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure a productive work environment

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar events role at in a B2B organization
  • Organization: Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Communication: Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Problem-solving: The ability to work independently and solve problems efficiently.
  • Adaptability: A flexible and adaptable approach to managing multiple projects simultaneously.
