Senior Talent Buyer: Privée & MAINLINE
About GigFinesse
GigFinesse combines technology with hands-on entertainment expertise to connect artists, venues, and event clients across the U.S. Our platform has powered more than 50,000 shows in 70+ cities, from intimate rooftop sessions to marquee venue performances—all driven by a mission to make live entertainment more accessible, equitable, and reliable.
We’re building on that foundation through Privée, which brings exceptional live entertainment to premium private and corporate events, and MAINLINE, which connects collegiate audiences with live talent.
We’re hiring a Senior Talent Buyer to help grow both businesses through strong artist relationships, thoughtful programming, and disciplined deal execution. This is an opportunity to shape two growing brands, bring memorable experiences to new audiences, and help create meaningful opportunities for artists.
The Role
You will own talent buying across Privée and MAINLINE, from understanding a client’s brief and sourcing artists through negotiation, contracting, artist advancing, and final settlement. Both divisions are equally important to this role.
For Privée, you’ll advise private hosts, family offices, corporate planners, and luxury brands on talent that fits the occasion, audience, and service expectations.
For MAINLINE, you’ll work with fraternity and sorority leadership, student organizations, university programming teams, and alumni stakeholders to book talent for formals, philanthropy events, homecoming concerts, and campus festivals.
This is a hands-on role for someone who combines musical taste and trusted industry relationships with sound commercial judgment. You should be comfortable recommending the right act, explaining the full cost, negotiating a workable deal, and following through on the details.
What You’ll Own

- Turn client briefs into compelling, realistic talent options based on audience, budget, date, venue, and production needs.

- Lead artist advances with producers, venues, and vendors to confirm technical riders, hospitality, transportation, security, and show schedules.
- Communicate contractual commitments and client expectations clearly to everyone responsible for delivery.
- Provide on-site artist liaison coverage at key events and resolve changes calmly and professionally.
- Handle confidential client, artist, and event information with discretion.
Booking systems and process improvement
- Keep contacts, rates, availability, offers, contracts, budgets, and booking status current in company systems.
- Maintain reliable calendars and handoffs across simultaneous bookings.
- Help improve the roster, booking workflows, and operating practices as Privée and MAINLINE grow.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of relevant experience in talent buying, agency booking, concert promotion, or a comparable role with direct responsibility for negotiating and closing artist engagements.
- A demonstrated record of successful bookings, with clear examples of your contribution to artist selection, negotiations, budgets, and execution.
- Established working relationships with agents, managers, and artist representatives relevant to our clients.
- Strong understanding of artist pricing, offers and holds, performance agreements, technical and hospitality
