Givens Life Ministries is looking for a new Director to lead our outreach division of Givens Communities. The primary purpose of this position is to lead, oversee, plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of LifeMinistries Outreach, LLC. This position will be responsible for developing and coordinating community and regional partnerships to further the vision and mission of Givens Communities.
What you'll do:
- Seek out and develop partnerships in the community to expand outreach and connectional opportunities for the organization
- Partner/collaborate with healthcare providers, local colleges, faith-based organizations, aging services, and various community anchor institutions to address healthcare disparities through development of wellness programs
- Supervise and support the Supportive Services Manager in their work within Givens Affordable Communities and health and wellness outreach
- Partner with the Vice President of Philanthropy and Affordable Housing to secure grants and needing funding for programs and services
- Conduct community and/or regional needs assessments to continue evolving Givens LifeMinistries community support initiatives
- Develop systems and metrics to collect and track economics, social, and health outcomes of Givens partnership and outreach
- Facilitate wellness programs, health screenings, and health coaching to vulnerable populations in diverse housing communities that empower individuals to experience improved quality of life
- Represents Givens LifeMinistries in dealings with outside agencies and various associations
- Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basies by an authorized supervisor
What you'll need:
- A minimum of a Bachelor of health/public health, Social Work, or Nursing field required
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years actively working in long term care, community health related position, or outreach development
- Health navigation/coaching/motivational interviewing experience a plus
- Knowledge of Aging in Community concepts and practices a plus
Compensation $95,000 - $110,000 per year, based on background and experience, and includes our comprehensive benefits package
