Givens Estates, a leading nonprofit Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), is hiring for a full-time Dining Hospitality Manager to help support our independent living dining team. Reporting to the Assistant Dining Services Director, the primary purpose of this position is to help oversee all front-of-house dining operations within Independent Living venues, Including Market & Craft, The Social Brew, Terrene, and all catering services. This role ensures exceptional resident and team member experiences through effective leadership, scheduling, training, and operational excellence.
What you'll do:
- Assist production personnel through routine communication of plate appearance, portion sizes, garnishes, condiments, etc
 - Coordinate front-of-house staff to ensure quality service is provided to residents; ensuring standards of service are consistently followed
 - Ensure all catering functions are timely and in line with Givens Estates standards of excellence
 - Teaches team members in the use, care and maintenance of equipment; also maintaining safety standards and practices
 - Serve as the primary contact for resident service regarding dining hospitality and catering concerns
 - Address feedback from residents and team members via Kiosks, Community App, We Care Connect and other channels available to our residents
 - Manage team leaders in the department and drive accountability
 - Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor
 
What you'll need:
- 3+ years experience in hospitality or dining services, preferably in a senior living or healthcare setting
 - High School or GED equivalent required, college degree preferred
 - Experience with adult learning - including teaching, training, precepting, coaching, etc
 - Must have a valid NC Drivers License with no major violations in the last 5 years
 
Compensation is $50,000 - $60,000 per year based on experience, plus our comprehensive benefits package!
