Senior Salesforce Developer

Bangalore

About Glean:

Founded in 2019, Glean is an innovative AI-powered knowledge management platform designed to help organizations quickly find, organize, and share information across their teams. By integrating seamlessly with tools like Google Drive, Slack, and Microsoft Teams, Glean ensures employees can access the right knowledge at the right time, boosting productivity and collaboration. The company’s cutting-edge AI technology simplifies knowledge discovery, making it faster and more efficient for teams to leverage their collective intelligence.

Glean was born from Founder & CEO Arvind Jain’s deep understanding of the challenges employees face in finding and understanding information at work. Seeing firsthand how fragmented knowledge and sprawling SaaS tools made it difficult to stay productive, he set out to build a better way - an AI-powered enterprise search platform that helps people quickly and intuitively access the information they need. Since then, Glean has evolved into the leading Work AI platform, combining enterprise-grade search, an AI assistant, and powerful application- and agent-building capabilities to fundamentally redefine how employees work.

About the Role:

Glean is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer / Lead Salesforce Engineer with 7–8 years of experience to design, build, and operate scalable Salesforce solutions that power our Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations teams. This role is critical to ensuring our Salesforce platform—especially Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA), Salesforce CPQ, and Quote‑to‑Cash (QTC)—is reliable, scalable, and aligned with Glean’s growth. The ideal candidate combines deep hands‑on Salesforce development expertise (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, APIs, CPQ, and Revenue Cloud) with strong ownership, business understanding, and the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver high‑quality, production‑ready solutions.

You will:
  • Design, develop, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Salesforce CPQ, and core platform services
  • Design, develop, and support Revenue Cloud Advanced (RCA) solutions, including advanced pricing, product modeling, and revenue orchestration
  • Deliver complex Salesforce initiatives from technical design through production deployment
  • Develop and maintain custom functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and REST/SOAP APIs
  • Own and enhance Salesforce CPQ and Quote‑to‑Cash (QTC) processes, including pricing, approvals, renewals, and amendments
  • Configure and extend RCA components such as Product Catalog, Pricing, Promotions, and Discounting frameworks
  • Build and customize RCA‑driven Quote, Order, and Revenue flows aligned with complex enterprise sales motions
  • Implement and optimize advanced pricing rules, eligibility logic, and pricing waterfalls using RCA capabilities
  • Support RCA data models and APIs, ensuring seamless integration with Salesforce core objects and downstream billing and revenue systems
  • Apply strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to debug code, analyze system behavior, and resolve complex technical challenges
  • Build and support integrations between Salesforce and downstream systems using APIs, platform events, middleware, and asynchronous patterns
  • Oversee and support integrations with tools such as ZoomInfo, Marketo, Gong, LeanData, DocuSign, and Apollo.io
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues impacting automation, integrations, data quality, performance, and platform limits
  • Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SOQL queries to retrieve and manipulate Salesforce data
  • Design and implement secure REST/SOAP APIs, callouts, and integrations with external systems
  • Collaborate with business, QA, architecture, and operations teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Ensure Salesforce configurations align with security, access control, and data governance standards
  • Participate in code reviews, CI/CD pipeline activities, release management, and deployments
  • Establish and monitor KPIs related to platform health, delivery quality, and business outcomes
  • Drive user adoption through training, documentation, and change management initiatives
  • Reduce technical debt by refactoring legacy automation and improving system consistency
  • Stay current with Salesforce technologies, releases, and best practices to implement innovative solutions
  • Foster a high‑performance, collaborative engineering environment
  • Act as a technical mentor and thought partner, promoting strong engineering culture
  • Execute complex Salesforce deployments using change sets and established release management practices, ensuring smooth transitions across environments (sandbox → production), thorough documentation, validation, and minimal business disruption
  • Ensure smooth coexistence or migration paths between Salesforce CPQ and Revenue Cloud Advanced, where applicable
