The team’s setup
This role offers an opportunity to work on critical application security efforts, collaborate across teams, and drive the implementation of state-of-the-art authentication and authorization solutions in a dynamic, forward-thinking environment.
By joining Team Sudo, you'll contribute to fortifying our platform's security while enabling innovation and maintaining the highest standards of data privacy and access control.
You will also become part of the driving force behind seamless integrations that elevate our product and enrich our customers' experience. We're seeking talented individuals to help develop and maintain multi-tenant integrations that unlock the full potential of our platform.
We have members in Tallinn and Tartu, Estonia.
We work in the Eastern European time zone (EET/EEST).
Our tech stack
- Infrastructure: AWS, Kubernetes (AWS EKS), Istio, APISIX
- Persistence: Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL, Apache Druid
- Cache: Amazon ElastiCache for Redis
- Event Streaming: Apache Kafka
- Message Broker: RabbitMQ
- Monitoring: DataDog
- CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible
Additionally, engineering teams at Glia use:
- Backend: Elixir and Ruby
- Frontend: JavaScript and ReactJS
- Native mobile SDKs: Java and Swift
Requirements
- System Design
- Experience in building and maintaining reliable and highly available systems. We’d expect you to have a solid understanding of system design as we would love to learn a thing or two.
- At home with Linux/Unix tools and ecosystem
- Infrastructure-as-Code enthusiast
- Experience in coding that extends beyond scripting
- Knowledge (and preferably experience) with SRE practices
- Security Expertise
- Experience with authentication and authorization technologies (OAuth, OIDC, SAML, RBAC, ABAC)
- Strong infrastructure knowledge, experience in working with cloud infrastructure and running containerized applications
- Leadership & Collaboration
- Ability to mentor and guide other engineers on best practices.
- Experience collaborating cross functionally with product, engineering, and compliance teams
- Prior experience with leading complex projects, affecting multiple teams
