The Role

As a Technical Product Manager for Platform, your focus is on enhancing the security, efficiency, and effectiveness of Glia’s software development processes. You’ll do this by creating and maintaining tools, frameworks, and systems that streamline workflows and improve developer productivity. Your work enables our engineering teams to build, test, and deploy software more efficiently, securely, and reliably across our global footprint.

You’ll own and evolve our deployment infrastructure — including CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling — with the goal of reducing friction, improving velocity, and supporting our multi-region AWS deployments.

In addition to platform engineering, you'll play a key role in Glia's Compliance and Security Posture. Working closely with our compliance, security and infrastructure teams you'll help ensure our platform and practices meet high standards and evolving regulatory requirements. From audits and security reviews to internal governance and access control, you'll bring a product mindset to security and compliance challenges.

The role requires a strong technical background and collaborative background, ideally with hands-on experience working on CI/CD systems. You should be comfortable working side-by-side with engineers and infrastructure specialists, while keeping business goals and customer expectations front and center. We're looking for someone who can balance between solving technical challenges with the need to prioritize platform investments that improve how we build and ship software at scale.

You will work cross-functional with engineering from different teams and other roles to help shape and shepherd the platform direction. We are looking for a self-driven executor with a strong technical background and attention to detail who can support the growth of the product and the company.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the roadmap for internal platform tooling and CI/CD pipelines to improve the developer experience and support scalable global deployments.
  • Collaborate closely with Platform, Infrastructure and SRE teams to identify and eliminate friction in the development lifecycle — focusing on empowering Product and Engineering teams to own their infrastructure through self-service tools and clear practices.
  • Work with compliance and security stakeholders to understand regulatory needs and translate them into actionable requirements for internal teams.
  • Collaborate closely with other product feature teams to understand how the internal platform can support customer facing feature design, development, testing, deployment, launch and monitoring needs.
  • Track and document compliance and security-related requests and requirements and translate them into actionable requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with our CompSec team to shape internal policies regarding data retention, access control, and secure development practices.
  • Champion the adoption of secure frameworks and development best practices across product and platform teams, ensuring security is integrated by default into how we build software.
  • Work closely with Engineering to design and evolve shared authentication frameworks and related patterns used across the platform.
  • Studying and researching organizations of our ideal customer profile, focusing on compliance and security.
  • Working closely with internal Product Managers and Engineers to deliver platform solutions that improve how we build and deploy software — while also addressing security and compliance expectations from our external customers.
  • Writing and maintaining product internal documentation from the early drafts and concepts to the live documentation of the final working solution.

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of software engineering practices, with hands-on experience or a strong technical background in platform, infrastructure, or DevOps-related areas.
  • Experience managing or collaborating on CI/CD pipeline improvements, internal developer tooling, or build/deploy automation in a cloud-native environment.
  • Strong focus on standardization and automation as core principles when improving internal development practices and infrastructure processes.
  • Familiarity with multi-region AWS architectures and the challenges of deploying and maintaining SaaS products at scale.
  • Understanding of or exposure to Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus, though not required.
  • Strong interest in compliance and security, and experience working with internal or external stakeholders on audits, controls, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with common enterprise security and compliance frameworks (e.g. SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, or similar), and the ability to translate these into platform and product requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with engineering teams to evaluate tradeoffs and actively drive the prioritization of platform investments that deliver high-impact outcomes.
  • Experience either working as a PM or working closely with product teams in another role (e.g. engineer) in the context of enterprise (B2B SaaS) products and/or solutions.
  • Attention to detail and desire for robustness and consistency.
  • Ability to communicate very clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and stock options
  • Professional development support  (trainings, courses, conferences, books, etc)
  • Access to all the latest tools and equipment you’ll need
  • Sports compensation, reimbursement for therapy, counseling sessions
  • Team events: annual employee awards, internal hackathons, and a dozen cool events from cooking to the Glia olympic games :)
  • Diversity: 25 countries represented
