New York, New York, United States

GLMX is an independent financial technology company that provides an intuitive, comprehensive and integrated global money market trading solution for institutional participants. The goal of GLMX is to be a leader in technology, to maximize trade lifecycle efficiency and reporting and to improve client access to market liquidity. Representing the fusion of Wall Street expertise and Silicon Valley technology, GLMX utilizes cutting edge technology to bring unprecedented trading and liquidity management efficiencies to some of the world’s largest financial markets.

About The Role

We are seeking a Product Manager to join our dynamic and growing team in New York. This role sits at the heart of our platform strategy, working closely with engineering, UX, support, and commercial teams to translate complex market requirements into scalable, high-quality solutions.

You will own the full product lifecycle - from discovery and specification to delivery and release management - while ensuring our platform evolves in line with client needs and market developments.

Responsibilities

  • Shape product direction by synthesizing inputs from clients, support, business stakeholders, and the market into executable specifications for engineering.
  • Think deeply about complex requirements, challenging assumptions, and proposing innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with UX to refine interface designs and user flows and diagnose adoption gaps (e.g., why a feature isn’t being used as expected).
  • Evaluate delivered features and provide actionable feedback to ensure quality and usability.
  • Analyze real-world system usage to generate insights and hypotheses for future product evolution.
  • Manage release readiness, including internal UAT, regression testing, and cross-team tracking.
  • Own documentation and communication, from updating the internal knowledge base to drafting clear release notes for stakeholders and clients.
  • Support go-to-market efforts by participating in training sessions, demo walkthroughs, and client-facing product presentations.
  • Maintain roadmap alignment, ensuring product priorities, documentation, and reporting stay in sync across teams.
  • Engage with support and operations to identify recurring issues and drive continuous improvement.

About You

You combine deep financial markets expertise with strong product management skills and thrive at the intersection of technology and business.

Market & Domain Knowledge

  • 3+ years of commercial experience in securities finance markets (repo, securities lending, synthetics) and exposure to adjacent markets such as cash bonds (UST/Int’l Gov, credit, EM), cash equities, money markets, or swaps.
  • Expertise in at least one of the following:
    • Repo: inter-dealer & client flow, market structure, transaction types, lifecycle management, electronic trading, voice brokers, matching platforms.
    • Securities Lending: trading types and flows, FI & EQ collateral.
    • Synthetics: equity derivatives, TRS.
    • Money Markets: CP/CD, time deposits, short-end cash instruments.
  • Ability to rapidly assimilate knowledge of adjacent markets based on SME or client input.

Product Management Experience

  • Proven background in business analysis, product design, requirements analysis, and value mapping.
  • Experience working with high-performing engineering teams, bridging the gap between market terminology and technical execution.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, including requirements gathering, product brief and specification writing (from quick enhancements to complex features), and positioning.
  • Strong track record in technical sales support, including product demos, prototyping feedback, and UX collaboration.
  • Ability to manage a dynamic book of work, balancing shifting priorities from multiple stakeholders.
  • Confident in devising and delivering compelling product demos and enabling sales teams to leverage them effectively.

Why Join Us

  • Be part of a high-impact team building products at the cutting edge of securities finance and trading markets.
  • Work on challenging problems that demand both deep domain expertise and creative product thinking.
  • Collaborate with talented colleagues across technology, markets, and client engagement.
  • Influence how global market participants interact with critical trading infrastructure.

  • Competitive compensation, including performance-based incentives.
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, dental plan.
