Senior Fullstack Developer (Postgres)
Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in data engineering to join our team. Reporting to the Software Engineering Manager, the position is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying data pipeline solutions using the latest AWS ETL technologies. Collaborating with other engineers, managers, Product Management, QA and Operations teams, the Senior Software Engineer will develop innovative solutions to meet company initiatives and adhere to development goals and principles.
Duties and responsibilities
- Design and implement data pipelines using AWS Glue, Lambda, Python, and PostgresSQL
- Design and develop data architecture, data definition and data manipulation structures in PostgreSQL
- Perform REST API design and implementation
- Coordinate code & design reviews and key project deliverables
- Perform automated testing using selenium and other tools
- Maintain, modify, and improve existing applications
- Perform code & design reviews and participate in daily standup meeting.
- Design and develop UI applications using VueJS, Django, TypeScript and JavaScript
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related degree
- 5 years of related experience, including the following:
- 5 years of experience designing and implementing data pipelines using AWS cloud-based solutions ( EC2, SNS, SQS, Lambda, AWS Glue, S3)
- 3 years of experience performing REST API design and implementation
- 3 years of experience designing and developing UI applications using VueJS, Django, TypeScript and JavaScript
- 3 years of experience serving as team lead and coordinating code and design reviews and key project deliverables
- 5 years of experience performing automatic unit testing with automated test frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of health care supply chain
- Basic knowledge of healthcare data rules and standards (such as HIPPA)
