People Operations Partner
General Summary:
Reporting to the Director HR, India and provide inputs and take accountability to support our fast-growing teams in India. This role would be a key pillar of the People Operations Team, who assists employees and managers with their People support needs- someone who is passionate about finding ways to best support our employee base. As a People Operations Partner, you will collaborate with people experience partners, and business leaders to design processes and control, diagnoses process failures, and automates processes, to help the organization grow and ensure the best experience for our employees. Next to your generalist duties, you will be a subject matter expert in one or more of the employee lifecycle programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Documents, implements, and improves upon processes, procedures, and programs prevalent in the organization, such as onboarding, off-boarding, rewards & recognition, compliance processes, among others. Use experience to propose recommendations to processes and programs in effort to improve efficiency and employee experience.
- In collaboration with various cross-functional partners, builds and drives programs that help them build a performance-driven culture.
- Ensures the delivery of critical people operations processes like onboarding, reference checks, off-boarding, etc. which form an important part of the employee lifecycle.
- Takes full ownership of employee documentation including contracts, amendments, and all other items pertinent to the employee lifecycle.
- Administer employee Rewards & Recognition program including training managers on program, collecting nominations, and facilitating rewards with payroll and vendors.
- Supports the People team in the administration of various surveys, conduct exit interviews (IC), and provide useful data to guide decision-making.
- Stays up to date on employment legislations, ensuring the organization's compliance with labour laws, employment standards, and related legislation and assists in implementation of policies and procedures to address compliance requirements
- Prepares regular reports for senior management on HR key performance indicators
- Other duties as required
Required Education, Certifications, and Experience
- Prior experience in a centralized, standardized HR operations team is highly desirable
- Degree in Human Resources Management.
- 4-7 years of experience in a generalist role ideally within a growth-stage tech company.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to influence, build trust, and foster collaboration at all levels of an organization.
- Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
- Experience working with global/international teams
- Ability to multitask and learn processes quickly for more efficient and effective results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels within the company.
- Tech Savvy, experience with HRMS / other HR tools is preferred.
