Job Description

Senior PeopleSoft System Administrator is responsible for the technical support of the PeopleSoft instances, databases, infrastructure, and architecture. Configure and administer PeopleSoft PUM/Demo instances and perform application, PeopleTools, database and operating system version upgrades. Responsible to design, develop, test, maintain, and administer the integrations between PeopleSoft and the GHX product line.  Work with customer-facing user interfaces and background batch processing.  Maintain custom applications and customizations across multiple versions of PeopleSoft instances, databases and operating systems. Provide input and feedback for GHX product lifecycle from the PeopleSoft perspective. This role is responsible for interacting with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Required Experience

  • BS or MS Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • Requires 6 to 8 years of PeopleSoft System Administration experience and Oracle database Administration.
    • Administer Web, Application, Process Scheduler domains in a virtual environment
    • Administer Oracle/SQL Server database instances
    • Backup, recovery and refresh the development instances
    • Configure and administer PUM/Demo instances
    • Upgrade Databases, PeopleTools, PUMs, Operating systems of PeopleSoft VMs
    • Project migrations and version control of the source code
    • Integrate PeopleSoft applications with 3rd party applications using integration broker
    • Apply SSL Certificates, Java Keystore and Punchout configurations.
  • Requires 3 to 4 years of experience in PeopleTools 8.5.x/8.6 development
    • Design, develop, test and maintain PeopleSoft applications using PeopleTools, Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, Application Package, Integration Broker, Web Services, SQR, SQL, ExceltoCI
    • Extensive expertise in Integration Broker with hands-on experience integrating PeopleSoft applications with third-party systems.
    • Experienced in developing RESTful and SOAP-based inbound and outbound APIs using PeopleTools/PeopleCode and Integration Broker
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, be able to interact with different levels of customers, peers, and leadership.
  • Prior experience working in an AGILE/SCRUM environment
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team on multiple competing projects and provide production support

Preferred Experience

  • Functional knowledge of Peoplesoft Procure to Pay modules (ePro, Purchasing, Inventory, AP)
  • Experience in System integration/ B2B integrations / SCM / MMIS / other ERP development or integrations with EDI Exposure
  • Functional and behavioral testing using tools like PTF, etc.

Preferred Certifications

  • Certified PeopleSoft Integration Specialist
  • Certified PeopleSoft System Administrator
