
Associate Product Manager
The Associate Product Manager is responsible for strategy, roadmap, and delivery of GHX Value Analysis & Strategic Sourcing customer data and analytic solutions. This individual will assist with ensuring products delivered meet market needs and generating a positive ROI for GHX. This role requires an informed, customer-centric, enterprise-level perspective of the current and future state of POH and EHR data processes, including key fail points and remediations, approaches to consistently meet customer expectations for data quality and classification coverage, and identifying, assessing, and delivering on initiatives to elevate how GHX analytic capabilities deliver value to customers. The role also includes assessing commercial opportunities for GHX VA&SS proprietary data assets and opportunities to make existing customer and staff workflows more efficient. This role also requires the ability to manage change and drive cross-functional alignment to execute key initiatives to completion.
This role will report to the Director – Product Management, Value Analysis and will regularly engage with cross-functional peers and teams to deliver outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with engineering to prioritize work to be done based on market demands and maximizing benefit to the customer
- Work with customers, sales, product managers, and technical teammates to develop and deliver top quality analytic capabilities and products by serving as bridge between internal and external stakeholders
- Conduct research to identify customer needs and market gaps influencing our business and our customers
- Conducting biweekly spring planning, quarterly strategic planning, yearly strategic planning, board grooming in partnership with DataOps team
- Evaluates and builds business cases for shortening data processing cycles and customer delivery cadences through product discovery, UX and technology collaboration, and evaluation of outcomes and associated risks
- Analyze the competition, and market trends, and report out on findings
- Define, drive, and communicate product roadmaps aligned with the corporate strategy, as well as new and existing capabilities
- Partner in the development of value propositions and sales tools to be used by the sales team
- Assist with cross-functional rollout and go-to-market of products and new feature sets
- Train all customer-facing employees on product details, value proposition, and sales techniques
- Serve as the technical expert on your product while working directly with customers (jointly with sales) both to assist sales in closing deals and to ensure a positive customer experience
- Represent your product through any internal prioritization processes
- Ensure legal requirements are met, and any risks are mitigated through collaboration with legal
- Write insightful problem statements that help cross-disciplinary teams focus on co-creating valuable solutions. Work with engineering, data operations, Service Line Advisors, Consulting Analysts, Data ETL to define and articulate their role in making the solution a reality
- Ability to travel 25%

Required Education, Certifications, and Experience
- 1-2 years in product management or 3+ years in a consulting role requiring data management and analytics of provider ERP and/or EHR data
- Experience delivering results across cross functional teams comprising software engineers, data operations, data quality assurance.
- Advanced experience with SQL or comparable language.
- Experience mobilizing cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, client services, sales & marketing etc.) to make vision a reality.
- Strong business acumen and customer engagement skills. Understanding of industry and customer trends. Strategic and creative thinking that enables application of those insights to deliver business results.
- Experienced in the art of prioritizing across different sources of ideas & feedback and balancing resource constraints to deliver the greatest impact for customers & the company
- Understanding of the healthcare industry required. Provider care delivery a plus.
- Bachelors or higher in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related degree.
The compensation for this role is :$87,400.00 - $116,500.00
The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the GHX’s salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on various factors, such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of GHX’s total compensation package for employees.
