
Facilities Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Facilities Lead to oversee and manage all aspects of facilities operations for our offices in India, primarily based out of Hyderabad. This role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning, safety, efficiency, and compliance of all physical office infrastructure, supporting a workforce of approximately 600 employees.
The ideal candidate must have experience working in a multinational corporate environment, with proven leadership in facility management, vendor coordination, space planning, and workplace services.
Key Responsibilities:
Space Optimization and Infrastructure Planning:
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of workspace layouts, ensuring optimal space utilization across offices or campuses in line with evolving business needs, growth plans, and local compliance requirements.
Team Leadership and Operational Oversight:
- Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary facilities team (maintenance, housekeeping, security, and support services), driving performance, service excellence, and adherence to SLAs across locations.
C-Suite Engagement and Strategic Alignment:
- Act as a key liaison with senior leadership, understanding and translating C-suite priorities into actionable facility strategies that support organizational goals and executive-level expectations.
Facilities Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations of India office (primarily Hyderabad).
- Ensure proper functioning of all facilities-related services including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, cleaning, security, and maintenance.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.
Vendor & Contract Management
- Manage third-party vendors and service providers including housekeeping, security, catering, maintenance, and AMC partners.
- Ensure service-level agreements (SLAs) are met and conduct regular performance reviews.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all facilities operate in compliance with Indian statutory regulations (e.g., fire safety, labor laws, building codes), while incorporating sustainable practices and business continuity measures.
Budget & Cost Management
- Prepare and manage the annual facilities budget.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement energy-efficient practices.
Employee Experience
- Act as a key point of contact for facilities-related queries and complaints.
- Foster a positive employee workplace experience through responsive service and well-maintained infrastructure.
Sustainability & ESG Initiatives
- Implement sustainability initiatives across facilities (waste management, energy efficiency, etc.).
- Support corporate social responsibility (CSR) and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in facilities or workplace management, preferably in an MNC environment.
- Experience managing mid-size office operations (300–600 headcount).
- Strong knowledge of local regulatory and statutory compliance (Hyderabad/Telangana, India).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and people management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, facilities management software/tools, and basic budgeting.
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and manage multiple stakeholders.
