About the Role

GHX’s Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) platform eliminates manual, repetitive tasks and
drive operational excellence. As an IPA Developer, you will work under the guidance of senior
engineers to design, develop, and maintain automation workflows that improve accuracy, reduce
errors, and boost productivity.
We are seeking a Python Developer with 2–5 years of experience to join our automation team.
You will design, develop, and maintain intelligent automation solutions powered
by large language models (LLMs), AI-assisted development tools, custom
validation engines, and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers. A key focus will be on
digitizing business documents which are often received via fax or PDF and extracting data using
OCR and Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) capabilities. Our bots are deployed on AWS
Cloud,
and you will work closely with senior engineers to deliver scalable, production-
grade automation systems on AWS.

Key Responsibilities

Automation Development
Build and maintain RPA/IPA workflows based on designs and requirements provided by
senior engineers.
Integrate LLM-based extraction tools (e.g., Claude, AWS Textract, or similar)
to replace or augment legacy OCR/IDP workflows.
Build and maintain robust validation engines that apply business rules and
confidence scoring to AI-extracted data before it enters downstream
systems.
Implement human-in-the-loop (HITL) review mechanisms where AI
confidence falls below acceptable thresholds.
Follow established coding standards, testing practices, and deployment protocols.
Document process flows, reusable components, and automation logic clearly.
Build reusable components, libraries, and frameworks for automation projects. Troubleshoot and optimize existing automation workflows.
Document technical designs, workflows, and best practices.
Testing & Support
Write unit and integration tests for automation workflows and AI
pipelines; participate in QA cycles.
Deploy and monitor automation solutions in AWS environments; respond
to production incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
Monitor and troubleshoot bots in development and test environments.
Collaboration
Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and
clarify process logic.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
Document workflows, configurations, and reusable components.
Continuous Learning
Stay updated on RPA/IPA platforms, AWS cloud services, and intelligent automation
trends.
Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering, or related field (or equivalent
experience).

Solid Python skills: data structures, OOP, async patterns, testing (pytest),
and packaging.
Hands-on experience with REST APIs and working with JSON/XML data
payloads.
Exposure to AI/LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, or similar) —
either in personal projects, coursework, or professional work.
Familiarity with AWS services like S3, Lambda, and EC2Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to API integrations and working with JSON/XML data.
Exposure to design and build Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers that expose
business data to LLM based engines
Apply prompt engineering best practices to improve Models’ reliability and accuracy.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Knowledge of Git, Jenkins or other CI/CD systems
