About this Position
We are seeking a talented and driven Writer/Content Specialist to join our creative team. In this role, you will provide copy and content strategy for digital campaigns, webinars, blogs, thought leadership articles, events promotion, and integrated marketing and communications campaigns.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, editors, designers, and other creative team members to bring integrated communications campaigns to life. You will ensure that our work is accurate, engaging, and aligned with stakeholder goals. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for strategizing, drafting, researching, and refining original content and integrating diverse stakeholder feedback.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content.
- Consider the entire customer journey of multiple target audiences to identify and recommend new content to address gaps in the company’s current content strategy.
- Assist the marketing team in developing content to support integrated advertising campaigns.
- Stay on top of SEO and AI best practices to increase efficiencies and increase traffic to the company website.
- Demonstrate critical thinking and discerning taste to create engaging, original content.
- Support non-writers at the company with your expertise on avoiding the common pitfalls and generic verbosity of AI-generated content.
- Ensure accuracy of content and adhere to all brand writing guidelines.
- Edit and polish existing content to improve readability, engagement, and accuracy.
- Create compelling headlines and body copy to capture the attention of our target audience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, English, journalism, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience with a strong portfolio of written content
- Working knowledge of content management systems.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- A strong portfolio including thought leadership and long-form articles.
- The ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple projects concurrently.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong collaboration skills and experience working in cross-functional teams to bring integrated campaigns to life.
- Ability to take creative direction and translate it into strong content while also contributing your own ideas and expertise.
Preferred:
- Experience working on high-profile campaigns or large-scale events.

The annual gross base salary range for this position is $81,667 - $98,000 plus variable compensation.
