Product Manager - Payroll
(Remote - Spain, Mexico, Mauritius, Colombia)
We’re looking for a Product Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing our Global Workforce Management platform. In this role, you’ll own the end-to-end product lifecycle for payroll capabilities that enable our clients to pay employees and contractors accurately, compliantly, and on time across multiple countries.
You’ll partner cross-functionally with engineering, design, QA, and go-to-market teams to deliver scalable payroll solutions that meet the evolving needs of global businesses. With a customer-centric mindset and deep attention to compliance and efficiency, you’ll help us build payroll technology that becomes the backbone of global employment.
What You’ll Do
- Own the payroll product area end-to-end: discovery, requirements gathering, roadmap development, and release execution.
- Translate payroll regulations, compliance requirements, and customer needs into actionable user stories and product requirements.
- Partner with design, operations, engineering to build workflows for payroll calculation, approvals, funding, treasury, reporting, and compliance.
- Collaborate with operations and QA to ensure accuracy in calculations and compliance across multiple geographies.
- Gather insights from finance, operations, and customer support teams to drive prioritization of payroll features and improvements.
- Stay ahead of global payroll compliance changes and evolving customer expectations to inform the roadmap.
- Drive Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and reviews for payroll initiatives.
- Ensure payroll releases align with both customer requirements and business objectives for scalability and efficiency.
- Create clear documentation for payroll features, including use cases, business cases, and ROI.
- Communicate updates and progress regularly with stakeholders and provide external-facing product content where needed.
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years of product management or related experience within technology or SaaS, ideally with exposure to payroll, or fintech.
- Proven ability to manage complex product lifecycles and deliver impactful B2B solutions.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across engineering, design, finance, and compliance teams.
- Comfort translating complex regulatory and financial requirements into clear product solutions.
- Hands-on experience working in Agile environments with direct involvement in sprint planning and backlog management.
- A customer-first mindset with the ability to balance compliance, accuracy, and usability.
- Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and quickly learns new domains.
