Back End Software Engineer
Sounds great, what will I be doing? 🤔
As our Backend Engineer you’ll help build and maintain the backend systems that support GWI’s monetization strategy and broader platform capabilities that enable teams to deliver targeted features, messaging, and insights to our customers.
You’ll work on services powering billing flows, subscription logic, and entitlements, while also contributing to tools that support customer feature management, analytics integration, and messaging infrastructure (e.g. mailers, lifecycle communications). These systems are used both directly and indirectly by product teams, operations, and commercial functions across GWI.
Our backend stack is primarily written in Go, deployed on Google Cloud, and integrates with systems like Stripe, Salesforce, and internal admin platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver robust and scalable services that sit at the intersection of platform infrastructure and customer-facing functionality.
It’s also fun; shaking things up is what working for a growing company is all about. So you’ll need to be flexible, comfortable with continuous change, and working in a high-tempo environment as we grow.
