Role & Responsibilities
The Director of Product Management works with the Chief Strategy Officer and the Executive Leadership Team to define and communicate Glooko’s product vision and strategy, turning business goals into scalable roadmaps that deliver customer value. Leading cross-functional teams, they drive execution in a fast-paced, agile environment, foster partnerships, and build a high-performing product organization to achieve growth and innovation that matters. Specifically, you will:
- Translate business strategies into product strategies and roadmaps that deliver customer benefits, meet financial goals, and ensure that systems and processes are set up to scale for explosive growth. Where appropriate document user needs, requirements, and specifications in line with the company’s SDLC process.
- Own and prioritize the strategy-informed product roadmap for the company's product lines, using formal prioritization frameworks. Advocate the product strategy within the company.
- Lead the teams consisting of product managers, UX, program managers, engineering, and other stakeholders to deliver products/features that delight users and achieve business goals.
- Analyze data to provide actionable insights for the product strategy.
- Set and manage priorities for engineering teams in a fast paced, agile development process. Follow through on action items to enable the cross-functional teams to accomplish their tasks.
- Collaborate with external partner organizations to effectively deliver shared products/features.
- Present the product strategy to inform and engage with Glooko teams as well as customers and partners.
- Understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs and evaluate new ideas with internal and external partners.
- Manage multiple projects, programs and priorities.
- Lead, mentor and coach team members to build a high-performing product management team.
- Recruit new product management staff as required and provide career planning for the current staff.
- Manage and deliver the appropriate design history documentation as defined within the compliance standards of Glooko.
Professional Qualifications
- MS/BS degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
