Director, Real World Data (RWD) Strategy and Development
Glooko is a global digital health company focused on simplifying diabetes and glycemic management for healthcare providers, caregivers, and people living with diabetes. As Glooko continues to expand its Real World Data (RWD) partnerships and pharmaceutical collaborations globally, we are seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial leader to drive high-impact partner initiatives, strengthen cross-functional collaboration, and accelerate business development across the healthcare and digital technology landscape.
About the role:
- Provide global leadership for the implementation and evolution of Glooko’s most critical RWD partner initiatives
- Act as primary sponsor and escalation point for strategic partne RWDr deployments and programs
- Lead planning, prioritization, and execution of multi-region RWD partner engagements from contract to launch and post-market support
- Drive alignment between Commercial, Product, Engineering, Regulatory, and Clinical teams to support requirements
- Identify long-term business opportunities through insights from partner activities, and shape strategy accordingly
- Support and ensure Business Development success, including penetrating large Pharma partner opportunities
- Develop and manage high-level plans, governance structures, KPIs, risk frameworks, and performance tracking systems
- Present initiative and partner status to executive stakeholders, with clear articulation of business and operational impacts
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and resource constraints across initiatives and propose mitigation strategies
- Lead internal and external negotiations to align on priorities, scope, timelines, and success metrics
- Serve as the voice of the RWD partner in internal discussions and represent Glooko in key external forums when needed
- Establish best practices and scalable processes for managing RWD partner launches, expansions, and support transitions
- Support commercial contract development and implementation readiness in collaboration with legal and BD teams
- Contribute to strategic planning cycles, resource forecasting, and cross-functional prioritization processes
About you:
- 7+ years of experience managing large-scale, commercially contracted projects in healthcare, technology, or life sciences.
- 7+ years of experience leading global or cross-regional strategic initiatives with external partners.
- Proven track record of navigating complex, matrixed organizations and multi-stakeholder programs.
- Deep understanding of go-to-market strategy, commercial operations, and digital product delivery.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex data value propositions to senior-level stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence decision-making, and align on shared goals.
- Entrepreneurial, creative, resourceful, and self-motivated, with a proactive problem-solving mindset and strong sense of ownership and teamwork.
- Expertise in program management tools, reporting frameworks, and continuous improvement methods.
