About the Role
The recruiting team is responsible for driving GlossGenius’ success by finding extraordinary people that are excited by our mission to empower entrepreneurship. As a recruiting coordinator, you will be responsible for making sure every candidate who enters our process has an amazing experience. You'll create, run and improve day-to-day operations and logistics around the full candidate lifecycle and will partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and interviewers to own internal recruiting operations.
You will report to the Senior Manager, People & Talent Operations. You must be commutable to our NYC headquarters and will operate in a hybrid environment with 2 days per week in the office (Tuesdays & Thursdays).
What You’ll Do
- Own the interview scheduling process from initial candidate contact with the hiring team to offer, including day-of communication and operations
- Provide an exceptional experience for each candidate where they feel informed, prepared, and welcomed
- Identify and implement improvements to our recruitment processes/policies; always focusing on improving candidate experience and efficiency
- Own internal processes in our applicant tracking system management (Greenhouse) including interview feedback collection, metrics creation, and job postings
- Support and help coordinate recruiting events, such as social events, meetups, on-campus and virtual programs, internships, job fairs, etc.
- Provide sourcing support on roles on an ad hoc basis
What We’re Looking For
- You have 0-1 years of work experience and a bachelor's degree
- You're a motivated, self-directed learner who is eager to dive into a startup; you keep a cool head during urgent scenarios and don’t get flustered easily
- You thrive in ambiguous, high-volume environments and enjoy making order out of chaos
- You're extremely detail-oriented. You never miss an email and can track multiple threads at once
- You’re open minded and enjoy collaborating with others to find the best solution or compromise
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills

The starting base salary for this role in New York, California, and Washington is between $65,000 - $80,000 + target equity + benefits. The base salary offered is dependent upon many factors including skills, experience, location, and education. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Additionally, this role is currently eligible to participate in GlossGenius’s equity plan as well as a range of health & wellbeing, retirement savings, and other benefits within our total rewards offering.
