Account Executive
About the Role
As an Account Executive, you’ll be at the forefront of our outbound sales efforts, focused on prospecting qualified leads and taking a consultative approach to showcasing why GlossGenius is the best choice. You will focus on selling to teams with 2+ service providers and ensuring that they are set up for success on the platform.
You will report to the Sales Manager. This role is a remote position and can be based anywhere in the continental United States. For candidates based in the NYC area, we are operating in a hybrid environment (Tuesdays & Thursdays in-office).
What You’ll Do
- Manage the full sales cycle from outbound prospecting and qualification to closing deals
- Master diverse buyer engagement by quickly identifying critical pain points and tailoring your messaging to a broad range of stakeholders, from hands-on business owners to experienced operators
- Onboard new customers to the GlossGenius platform, setting them up for long-term success
- Champion customer insights by communicating & escalating feedback internally to cross functional business partners across marketing, product, product marketing, and ops
- Consistently exceed ambitious sales targets and KPIs, deliver exceptional value to prospects, and contribute to a high-performing sales culture
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ years of sales experience in a high velocity sales role or related internship
- Experience working with a CRM (Hubspot/Salesforce)
- Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Proficiency in short-cycle sales, particularly in fast-paced micro-business environments
- Motivated by outbound prospecting and generating new business; thrives on hitting goals and uncovering untapped opportunities
- Metrics-driven approach with a clear understanding of key sales metrics including win-rate, quota attainment, conversion rate, etc
- Knowledge of the beauty and wellness space/beauty businesses is a plus

The base salary for this role in New York, California, and Washington is $60,000 with an OTE of $95,000 + target equity + benefits.
The compensation structure is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Additionally, this role is currently eligible to participate in GlossGenius’s equity plan as well as a range of health & wellbeing, retirement savings, and other benefits within our total rewards offering.
