Our environment is fast paced and ambiguous, and fully remote.  In Go1 our people need to be able to collaborate cross-functionally, engage different teams to solve complex challenges, and in some cases in different time zones, predominantly between Australia and West Coast USA.  Have a proactive, and curious mindset, able to deal with ambiguity, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, outcome orientated environment. 

As a Senior Data Analyst you will join three other Data Analysts.  They are building insights and reporting capability to meet the needs of our Product and Customer functions.  Data Intelligence work alongside our business leaders and product managers to help shape the strategy and direction of projects and products, proactively offering insights and suggesting improvements 

Within Product we are building customer facing Insights, influencing and guiding Product decisions with explorations in our Data, and developing Metrics to monitor success.  Across our Corporate functions we are building and enabling capability to enable our Customer and Marketing functions to take action, and drive new programmes of work to attract, and retain more customers.   

We are seeking a candidate who will have expertise of building and shaping the Analytics landscape, a strong background in data analysis, statistical methods, and convey insights through data-driven narratives.  You will be responsible for building and maintaining metrics models, dashboards, reports, analysing complex datasets, providing actionable insights, and using statistical models to support business objectives.  Your ability to understand our Customer needs, behaviour, and content offering enables you to drive strategic decisions across our business. 

Responsibilities 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand our strategy and the goals we are aiming to achieve
  • Profiling and validating, and analysing large, complex datasets to extract meaningful patterns, trends, and insights
  • Apply advanced statistical techniques (e.g. regression, hypothesis testing, time series analysis) to interpret data and guide business decisions
  • Development and ownership of metric models, dashboards, reports, adopting our Data Standards, such as unit testing, deploying to Production, and version controlling
  • Prepare and present clear, concise reports and dashboards, communicating findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Identify and develop data driven strategies to improve our business performance and optimise processes
  • Mentoring and provide guidance to other Analysts
  • Stay current with emerging trends in data analysis, statistical techniques, and industry best practices 

Skills and Experience required 

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or Computer Science
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Data Analyst, with a focus on statistical analysis and a track record of delivering actionable insights
  • Application of statistical methods in your analytical products
  • Proficiency in SQL, and Python  
  • Strong communication skills enabling you to communicate complex context into concise, actionable steps  
  • Experience in a B2B SaaS (nice to have)
  • Experience with Databricks (nice to have)
  • Experience of automated tests, version controlling and using CICD and GitHub to deploy your Analytical Products to a Production environment (nice to have)
