About the Role

We are looking for a US Sales Development Manager to launch and build our new Atlanta-based SDR team. This role is ideal for an existing SDR Manager/Team Lead eager to take on both individual quota responsibility and team-building ownership, or a proven top-performing SDR ready to step into leadership. You will be responsible for hitting your own pipeline-generation targets while also hiring, coaching, and leading a small but mighty team of 2–3 SDRs.

This role requires someone scrappy, entrepreneurial, and hands-on, someone who can roll up their sleeves to book meetings while also building the foundation for a high-performing outbound function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quota-carrying: Drive personal activity to source and qualify meetings and opportunities, meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly targets.
  • Team building: Recruit, hire, and onboard 2–3 SDRs for the Atlanta team.
  • Coaching & leadership: Provide day-to-day guidance, training, and motivation to SDRs to ensure consistent performance and career growth.
  • Process development: Establish scalable outbound processes, cadences, and best practices for pipeline generation.
  • Tech stack mastery: Leverage modern sales tools (e.g., Apollo, Nooks, Gong) to build efficient prospecting workflows.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Marketing and Sales leadership to refine ICPs, messaging, and campaigns.
  • Metrics & reporting: Track activity, pipeline, and conversion metrics at both the individual and team level, using data to drive improvements.
  • Culture: Foster a high-energy, performance-driven, and supportive team culture in an on-site office environment.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of work experience, with at least 3 years as a top-performing SDR/BDR in a SaaS or technology company.
  • Proven record of consistently exceeding pipeline generation targets.
  • Experience as a Senior SDR, SDR Team Lead, or SDR Manager with exposure to coaching, mentoring, or managing others.
  • Comfortable balancing personal quota responsibilities while developing and leading a team.
  • Familiarity with modern prospecting and sales engagement tools (Clay, Common Room, Apollo, Nooks, Outreach, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, Gong, etc.).
  • Experience in a growth-stage SaaS environment where playbooks were still being built is a strong plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to establish outbound processes from scratch.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; motivating presence in both prospect-facing and internal contexts.
  • Entrepreneurial, resourceful, and energized by building something new.
  • Based in Atlanta, GA, with the ability to work in-person at a coworking office space.

At Go1, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays between $85,000 and $100,000. Your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. This role is also eligible for the employee commission plan and employee stock options.
