The role

We’re looking for a Finance Analyst to join our Finance team. As a member of the Finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring our accounts are accurate and our processes and controls are maintained. 

This position is located in our HQ2 in Riga, which was recently honored with the prestigious CEE Business Services Award for being the ‘Most Vibrant Employer - Latvia,’ offering you the chance to thrive in a dynamic and engaging workplace.

What excites you 

• Reporting and analysis of headcount and growth of the company, including compiling headcount data weekly and reporting on new hires, leavers, vacancies and total headcount 
• Calculating the fully loaded cost per person 
• Updating and maintaining ownership of the headcount model and budget each month to forecast outturn
• Assist with and prepare presentations and financial analyses on other departments and areas of the business
• Different ad-hoc projects 

What excites us

• Excellent Excel skills (ideally Pivot Tables, VLookUp etc)
• Financial analysis experience
• Knowledge of NetSuite or similar accounting packages
• Professional and articulate - able to communicate effectively with internal and external parties 
• Highly numerate - you love numbers and you’re good with them 
• Ability to work in a timely and accurate fashion 
• Strong attention to detail 
• You have great communication and interpersonal skills and are able to build strong and productive relationships.
• You have an interest in the FinTech industry

Salary range - the expected base salary range for this position is between €1,650 - €2,500 (gross) per month.

Base salary ranges are based on role, job level, location, and market data. Please note that whilst we strive to offer competitive compensation, our approach is to pay between the minimum and the mid-point of the pay range until performance can be assessed in the role. Offers will take into account level of experience, interview assessment, budgets and parity between you and fellow employees at GoCardless doing similar work.
