The role

Reporting to the Head of Talent Development, this is a critical role that will have a high impact on GoCardless’ ability to deliver on its ambitious strategy to be the global leader in account to account payments. 

Over the next few years we expect to accelerate the growth and learning of our employees, build an increasingly focused learning culture and create learning opportunities across the organisation. 

What excites you 

Learning Programme Management:

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of various learning programmes, including Global Learning Curriculum, Mentoring Programme and Women in Leadership initiatives. This involves vendor management, logistical setup, communication, feedback collection, and ensuring a smooth and effective learning experience for participants.
  • Supporting in the roll out of broader learning programmes such as Careers and Learning Week

Performance & Development Cycle Support:

  • Own key administrative aspects of the performance review and development cycles within Lattice. This includes setting up review cycles, managing guidance on our company intranet, generating reports, and supporting related workshops and project managing the communication programmes.

Manager Development Programmes:

  • Take ownership of programmes designed for managers: Managing the GC Way and Empower. This includes scheduling workshops, managing communications, maintaining relevant data, and ensuring high levels of engagement.

Engagement Programmes:

  • Administer Global Engagement and Pulse surveys in Lattice, working with stakeholders to analyse results and develop communication plans. 

Operational Excellence & Reporting:

  • Provide regular reports on learning and development activities, manage related queries, and ensure effective communication across all initiatives. This includes platform administration (Lattice, GoHere) and collaboration with the Communications team.

What excites us  

  • Experience in a fast-growth tech scale-up or start-up with international presence. Experience in a SaaS business is a plus.
  • 3-7 years of experience in HR, Talent Management or Talent Development.
  • Proven talent development experience with demonstrable achievements in developing a strong learning culture and impactful talent management processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively manage stakeholders at all levels, including upwardly managing expectations and timelines to ensure successful programme delivery.
  • You can build effective working relationships with employees at all levels, gaining their acceptance and driving change, and are a proven team player who contributes positively to team dynamics and shared goals.
  • Structured thinker with the ability to frame and solve unstructured problems.
  • Proficient in analyzing data in Google Sheets and qualitative feedback to generate insights that influence the development of programmes and processes.
  • Ability to build, scale, and run highly operational talent development systems, tools, and processes to deliver on our overall business objectives at pace, with a constant focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement, including keeping up with trends like AI and its use cases for learning.
  • Being curious with a strong desire to innovate and create impact.

Base salary range: the expected base salary range for this position is between €2,733 - €4,100

Base salary ranges are based on role, job level, location, and market data.  Please note that whilst we strive to offer competitive compensation, our approach is to pay between the minimum and the mid-point of the pay range until performance can be assessed in role. Offers will take into account level of experience, interview assessment, budgets and parity between you and fellow employees at GoCardless doing similar work.
