Join us! The GoFundMe team is searching for our next Workplace Specialist to help create and maintain a productive, engaging, and safe work environment for all employees. The Workplace Specialist will support daily office operations, coordinate facilities management, foster employee engagement, build culture, assist with new hire onboarding, and will ensure that workplace services meet the needs of a dynamic and growing Argentina team.
Candidates considered for this role will be located in Buenos Aires, Argentina. There will be an in-office requirement of 2-3x a week.
The Job
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all workplace and facilities-related inquiries.
- Oversee office operations, including space planning, desk assignments, and meeting room management.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for office supplies, maintenance, food services, and repairs.
- Collaborates with Global Security to support health, safety, and security protocols to ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including workspace setup and equipment allocation.
- Organize and support company events, meetings, visiting guests, and employee engagement activities.
- Monitor and manage workplace budgets, invoices, and expense reports.
- Identify opportunities to improve workplace efficiency, sustainability, and employee experience.
- Lead the Argentina Vibe Committee and plan monthly social events.
- Maintain accurate records of office assets, supplies, and facility maintenance schedules.
- Collaborate with People Ops, Recruiting, IT, and other departments to support cross-functional initiatives.
You
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in office management, facilities coordination, or a similar role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency with office software like Google Workspace, Slack, and workplace management tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to challenges.
Preferred
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment (preferably previous experience at a tech company)
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards and best practices.
- Familiarity with sustainability initiatives and green office practices.
- Event coordination and management experience.
