Join our Legal Team! GoFundMe is searching for a law student from a nationally-accredited US law school to join our Summer 2026 Intern Program.
This is a 10 week internship program that runs from May 27th, 2026 to August 7th, 2026.
The Job…
Are you a law student looking to experience legal work in-house at an industry-leading platform? As a legal intern at GoFundMe, you will have the opportunity to assist a small but mighty legal team with a wide range of legal issues, including but not limited to:
- Reviewing, drafting and negotiating a variety of agreements.
- The development of templates, policies and procedures and other aspects of legal operations.
- Dispute resolution and litigation.
- Identifying legal and business risks and providing strategic, practical and creative legal and business advice.
- A variety of projects, as needed, including corporate governance, IP, marketing reviews, data privacy, product counseling, employment and more.

- Good judgment, strong ethics, and a kind heart.
- Confident self-starter.
- Independent worker, with the ability to escalate issues appropriately and effectively.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under challenging circumstances.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously, with effective resolution of conflicting priorities.
- A passion for GoFundMe’s mission while being a genuine GoFundMe ambassador who amplifies GoFundMe’s culture in all communications and interactions.
Location
This position is a remote position, within the US. However, the role may include occasional work at a GoFundMe office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. Additionally, although the position is remote, you must live in a state where GoFundMe is authorized to hire employees. Your recruiter will inform you what states you are eligible to work from.

The hourly rate for this position is $75.00. As this is a remote position, the pay rate was determined by role, level, and possible location across the US. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
