As an S&O Senior Analyst, you will serve as a strategic thought partner to leadership. You will own high-impact analytics initiatives, shape long-term planning, and proactively identify risks and opportunities that influence platform integrity and user trust. This role is designed for a highly analytical, systems-oriented problem solver who can connect operational data to business strategy and drive meaningful, measurable outcomes across the organization.

The Job

  • Serve as a strategic analytics partner to Trust & Safety leadership, translating business priorities into measurable frameworks and performance strategies.
  • Own and continuously evolve KPI architecture across Trust & Safety, ensuring metrics reflect both operational health and long-term risk posture.
  • Leverage Zendesk as a core operational platform for Trust & Safety, building and maintaining custom dashboards in Zendesk Explore to monitor ticket volumes, resolution rates, SLA compliance, and enforcement trends.
  • Optimize Zendesk workflows, automations, triggers, and macros to improve Trust & Safety operational efficiency, and integrate Zendesk data into broader analytics pipelines to surface actionable insights.
  • Lead complex forecasting, capacity modeling, and multi-scenario planning to guide investment decisions and organizational design.
  • Conduct end-to-end deep dives into emerging risk trends, enforcement effectiveness, operational quality, and systemic platform vulnerabilities.
  • Identify structural inefficiencies and design scalable, data-backed solutions that improve performance and reduce risk exposure.
  • Build executive-ready dashboards, reporting frameworks, and performance narratives that drive clarity at the senior leadership level.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Policy, Legal, and Operations to influence roadmap decisions through quantitative insights.
  • Design measurement strategies to evaluate policy shifts, tooling launches, and enforcement changes - ensuring initiatives are tied to measurable impact.
  • Support annual and long-range planning cycles with rigorous business cases, investment modeling, and strategic recommendations.
  • Elevate analytics maturity within Trust & Safety by establishing best practices, improving data governance, and mentoring other analysts.

You

  • 3-7 years of experience in Strategy, Business Operations, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Expert in Zendesk as a customer support and Trust & Safety operations platform, including experience configuring workflows, managing ticket queues, and leveraging Zendesk reporting and analytics tools (Explore).
  • Experience building custom Zendesk Explore dashboards and reports to track key Trust & Safety metrics such as resolution time, escalation rates, enforcement accuracy, and agent productivity.
  • Familiarity with Zendesk APIs and data export capabilities to integrate ticket-level data into broader analytics pipelines and business intelligence tools.
  • Experience optimizing Zendesk workflows including automations, triggers, macros, and SLA policies to improve operational efficiency and enforce consistent Trust & Safety processes at scale.
  • Advanced SQL proficiency and strong experience building complex models and scalable reporting frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience leading high-impact analytical initiatives that influenced senior-level decisions.
  • Deep experience with forecasting, scenario planning, and KPI design in operational environments.
  • Strong executive communication skills - able to distill complex analyses into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Ability to operate autonomously and proactively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • Strong business judgment with the ability to balance operational efficiency, risk mitigation, and long-term strategy.
  • Experience mentoring or guiding other analysts, formally or informally.
  • Significant experience in Trust & Safety, fraud prevention, compliance, platform risk, or marketplace integrity, in high-growth ecommerce, fintech, marketplace, or social media environments.
  • Familiarity with experimentation design, enforcement quality measurement, and risk signal analytics.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional roadmaps at the Product and Engineering leadership level.

A little more about you

GoFundMe is where we help people help each other. Help comes in many different shapes and sizes, and so we aim to hire a team who reflects the diverse backgrounds, experiences, lifestyles and values of the people who come to the platform every day.

You’ll see two sections below. The first section is a list of voluntary self-identification options so you can share what makes you, you! We want to understand the big picture of our employees’ identities, expressions, and abilities. The second section looks similar with slightly fewer specifics, and that one is for our company’s government reporting. Both of these sections are optional, and kept confidential. Your responses or your choice to opt-out have no influence on the hiring process for this role.

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

A "recently separated veteran" means any veteran during the three-year period beginning on the date of such veteran's discharge or release from active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval, or air service.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
