The Role
We’re looking for an Education Strategist - District Technology to serve as a trusted resource and thought leader for K-12 district and state leadership, including CTOs, DOTs, and other key stakeholders. In this role, you’ll provide strategic guidance on integrating technology and AI in the district, school, and classroom; build relationships with district leaders; and support the sales team in effectively positioning GoGuardian’s solutions to drive meaningful student learning outcomes. This position sits on the Market Strategy and Operations team, a team that focuses on aligning GoGuardian’s solutions with the needs of schools and districts nationwide. The ideal candidate is a former or current K-12 technology leader with strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for education technology. Prior experience implementing or supporting the GoGuardian Administrators and/or GoGuardian Teachers product within a K-12 district preferred.
What You'll Do
- Act as the “voice of district technology” in customer engagements and within the GoGuardian organization
- Support sales team members in understanding and effectively communicating the benefits, challenges, and impact of integrating GoGuardian products in the classroom
- Support sales team members in understanding and effectively communicating the benefits, challenges, and impact of integrating artificial intelligence and large language models in the district, school, and classroom
- Build relationships by leading and participating in events, trade shows, user groups, webinars, and forums that connect with district leaders
- Attend customer meetings and serve as a sales catalyst by aligning with and building trust among technology stakeholders, state, and district leadership teams
- Assist in educating and participating in sales team discovery and outreach strategies
- Equip the sales team with insights and talk tracks to best position our solutions to state and district leadership
- Demonstrate proactivity and good judgment in determining and executing on best next steps for customers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, RFP, product, and marketing, to support customer needs
Who You Are
- 3+ years in K-12 District Technology (current or former)
- Experience with implementing or supporting content monitoring and filtering tools, preferably GoGuardian solutions, or related relevant experience
- Experience using or coaching educators on technology integration/utilizing technology in the classroom learning experience
- Experience using or coaching educators on LLMs and responsible AI practices
- Proven thought leadership in education technology
- Experience with school district funding and school budget processes
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with internal and client stakeholders
- Collaborative and humble team player with a proactive mindset
- Eager to take initiative in a fast-paced, ever-changing, dynamic environment

The typical base salary range for this position is $105,000 - $125,000 per year. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire base pay for this position and your pay will be determined by a variety of factors, including your primary work location, skills, qualifications and experience.
