Manager, Talent & Inclusion
About the Position
Golden State is looking for a creative and results-oriented Manager to assist in the continued development of our talent and inclusion strategies. In this role, you will help us to create, implement and track our ongoing initiatives that aid in building an inclusive culture and workplace. The ideal candidate has excellent program management skills and is able to collaborate with a wide variety of employees and departments to plan, implement, and evaluate programs that deliver measurable results. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys execution. This position reports to the Senior Director, Talent & Engagement.

This is a full-time position based onsite in San Francisco, CA.
Key Responsibilities
- Aid in the design, execution, and measurement of Golden State’s talent and inclusion strategies
- Facilitate learning through multiple delivery methods (in-person, virtual, digital) with innovative approaches that support team collaboration and innovation
- Collaborate with Senior Director in the development and delivery of people development programs, including: inclusion, coaching, manager onboarding, skill-building programs, and career growth experiences
- Partner with People Operations and senior leaders to align learning programs with business priorities and organizational goals
- Consult with departments across the organization (e.g., Community Relations, Public Affairs, Foundation, Corporate Partnerships, Group Sales, Procurement, etc.) to align on internal inclusion efforts
- Deliver new inclusion programs and processes (e.g., learning & development, mentorship, internship, etc.) while ensuring successful, end-to-end experiences
- Assist People Systems team to collect and analyze data/feedback to track and measure program outcomes, business impact, and identify opportunities
- Partner with Workplace Experience team, Employee Resource Groups, and other internal partners to promote inclusion within business and talent processes
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition team to develop strategic recruiting and sourcing programs that strengthen our employer brand and attract diverse talent communities
- Assist in the sourcing, development, and delivery of inclusion training
- Assist in the development and execution of employee-facing strategies and tactics to communicate people programs, as well as change management plans for corporate business initiatives and organizational changes
- Keep pulse on local sociopolitical landscape and help the organization proactively plan and react to changes
- Other duties as assigned
Required Experience & Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years designing and implementing scalable people, impact, and/or DEI programs
- Solid understanding of DEI/learning & development foundations, principles and standards; experience identifying and implementing DEI/learning & development training programs
- Experience leading large-scale programs and delivering measurable results
- Experience with internal communications; ability to deliver strategic counsel and tactical excellence for internal communications
- Ability to articulate a strategic vision and work crossfunctionally to deliver results; ability to translate data into narratives that drive decision-making
- Superior project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication; strong public speaking and presentation skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with team members across the organization
- Proficiency in HRIS, ATS, CRM and related platforms, preferred
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and lead through change
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
Compensation
- $46.00 - 49.00 per hour + Bonus
