Guest Experience Supervisor (Part-Time)

About the Position

The Golden State Warriors are looking for Supervisors to assist the Guest Experiences team during Chase Center events. In this role, you will provide a safe and guest-friendly environment for each event at Chase Center. Additionally, Supervisors will actively lead and assist team members (Guest Service Representatives, Concierge, and Ambassadors). This position reports to the Director, Guest Experience Operations.

This is a part-time position based in San Francisco, CA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and assist team members on event days
  • Brief team members on policies and event procedures
  • Respond to calls via radio or voice amplifiers during events and make on the spot decisions regarding arena and guest experiences relations policies on management
  • Assign and coordinate breaks for all Guest Experiences team members
  • Assisting with inventory, event day preparation, general administrative duties and day-to day tasks
  • Train and teach team members on guest experience related information
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members, including coaching on performance

Required Experience and Skills

  • Strong leadership skills and the desire to work on a team
  • Ability to remain professional in a high-pressure environment, including during emergencies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service, and resolution skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with clients and peers at all levels within the organization
  • Ability to balance multiple projects at once in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Reliable form of transportation

Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time
  • This position may require you to sit or stand in an enclosed space (i.e., an elevator) and travel in upper and lower levels multiple times during your shift

Time Commitment

  • Work at least 60% of events through the year including Golden State Warriors and Valkyries home games, Chase Center Concerts, and auxiliary events.
  • Non-traditional hours according to the Golden State Warriors and Valkyries home game schedule and Chase Center concerts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays)
  • Typical game night shifts are 5:00 pm - 11:00 pm
  • Typical concert shifts are approximately 5+ hours in length
  • Work schedules will vary from week to week along with scheduled events. Part-time Team Members will not be scheduled for every event as scheduling is based on the needs of the department.

Compensation

  • $26.78 per hour
