Coordinator, Ticketing (GSV)

About this Position 

The Golden State Valkyries are looking for a creative, hardworking and passionate individual to join our Ticketing team. The Coordinator will assist with the implementation of various Ticket Sales & Service events at Chase Center, cross functional collaboration to build and finalize department sales collateral, all while coordinating and delivering Fan Experience programs in-arena. The position reports to the Director, Ticket Sales.

This is a full-time position based onsite in Oakland, with trips to San Francisco as dictated. 

Key Responsibilities 

  •  Create and manage marketing communication deliverables, including print, web and email
  • Serve as the liaison between the Ticketing and Marketing teams to ensure appropriate collateral development 
  • Support Sales & Service game day activations
  • Deliver initiatives surrounding group giveaways, including managing calendar of events, inventory of materials and distribution of materials
  • Support lead generation within specific sales categories
  • Facilitate Group Leader Rewards and TicketClub programs
  • Liaise between varying departments for successful implementation and execution of cross functional initiatives including: Sports Academy for ticket redemption program, Public Affairs & Community Relations regarding special event development, Game Experience, Corporate Partnerships, etc.
  • Interface with fans and clients
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Experience and Skills 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1-2 years of sales experience, preferably in the sports and entertainment industry
  • Experience in developing promotional activity/collateral 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with clients and peers at all levels within the organization and community
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, service and resolution skills; outstanding telephone etiquette
  • Strong project management skills 
  • Ability to multitask, be detail-oriented and organized in a fast paced environment with deadlines

Time Commitment

  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed

Physical Demands

  • Able to push/pull/carry and lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Able to climb stairs and sit/turn/bend/stand for long periods of time

Compensation

  • $26.44 per hour (OTE approx. $70,000)
