
Game Operations Representative (Part-Time)
About the Position
The Santa Cruz Warriors are looking to hire part time Game Operations Representatives for the 2025-26 basketball season. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals with a professional demeanor. This position will be responsible for assisting the game operations department with game night duties.
This is part-time position and is located in Santa Cruz, CA.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with pre-game, in-game, and post-game events which may include; setup and breakdown of arena signage and equipment
- Serve as a guest representative for venue information such as stadium layout, seating sections, and emergency activity procedures, as needed
- Assist with execution of promotional theme nights and other events
- Check in various individuals and groups for game day presentations, promotions and entertainment
- Assist in the execution of contests and promotions performed during designated timeouts and at halftime
- Assist Game Operations department with other projects and daily tasks
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience
- Enthusiastic and friendly with a professional demeanor. Must be mature and accustomed to working in a diverse environment
- Previous experience working in a customer service environment
- Knowledge of the game of basketball preferred
- High energy, detail-oriented, and hard-working individual is preferred
- Ability to multi-task and to complete assignments in a fast-paced environment is preferred
- Must be able to work weeknights, weekends and holidays
- Must be at least 18 years old
Time Commitment
- Must be able to work the majority of home games – 24 regular season games and playoffs
- 4 hour shifts on game days, typically 5:30pm to 9:30pm
Physical Job Description
- Pushing/pulling/carrying and lifting may include up to 30 lbs. (set-up and breakdown)
- Stair climbing and the ability to sit/turn/bend/stand for long periods of time
Compensation
- $16.50 Per Hour
