About the Role:

As a AI RevDev on the AI Operations team, you'll be at the forefront of our AI strategy, getting hands-on with cutting edge technology to solve real-world business problems. You will be an internal AI development expert, building (and subsequently owning) a suite of agentic workflows and front-end applications that our 1000+ member sales team will leverage on a daily basis, with coverage from our SMB to Strategic teams. You will own the full development lifecycle for internal AI tools, encompassing everything from initial prototyping and proof-of-concept development to scaling solutions for production, conducting beta tests with end-users, and providing ongoing maintenance. Your responsibilities will include constructing sophisticated agents using platforms like Glean and N8N, developing front-end applications with low-code tools such as Retool and Cursor, and crafting intricate prompts for AI models including Glean, Gemini, and Perplexity.

We're looking for someone with an experimentation mindset—eager to prototype, learn quickly from failure, and explore new ideas. You should be passionate about AI’s potential to transform work and have a strong grasp of concepts like context windows, token usage, compute costs, chunking, and performance benchmarks. Experience with scripting, SQL/SOQL, Python basics, and prompt engineering using models like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, etc., via web and API is essential. Familiarity with the evolving agentic ecosystem (orchestration layers, MCP), and the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences, especially in a GTM context, is key.

What You'll Do:

  • Own the full development cycle of prototyping / developing proof of concepts, scaling prototypes for production use, beta testing with end users, and performing ongoing maintenance for internal AI tools
    • This includes building complex agents using Glean and N8N, using low code tools like Retool or Cursor to develop front-end applications, and creating complex prompts for use in Glean, Gemini, or Perplexity
    • Internally developed tools will often be tested head-to-head with external vendors to determine the efficacy of the solutions we build
  • Collaborate with our internal product managers and ESYS team to integrate key data sources into your applications / agents in a secure way that respects Motive’s data governance structure
  • Ensure agents and applications follow UX best practices and can be easily leveraged by a less technical business audience
  • Have a strong POV on when an agentic workflow is warranted vs a point solution (i.e., prompt).
  • Have a strong POV on which of our internal AI tools is best suited to solve a specific use case
  • Manage a provided cost envelope for production use cases, testing different LLM models to balance performance with token consumption cost
  • Create and maintain documentation around launched solutions
  • Train end-users on the usage of launched tools
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in LLM’s and agentic orchestration

What We're Looking For:

  • 3-5 years of hands-on development experience in an enterprise environment while leveraging machine learning + AI models
  • Strong understanding of AI fundamentals such as context windows, token consumption, compute cost, chunking, and performance benchmarks
  • Understanding of API usage, limitations, and how to leverage API’s to aggregate data across multiple source platforms. This includes an understanding of rate limits scalable API use as it pertains to both data sources and LLM’s
  • Understanding of scripting, SQL / SOQL, and Python fundamentals
  • Experience leveraging prompt engineering to complete complex tasks, such as multi-step agentic workflows or coding
  • Experience leveraging foundational models (Gemini, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Grok and others), both through the web interface and via the API
  • Familiarity with the rapidly evolving agentic landscape, including orchestration layers, MCP, and Agent2Agent
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical end user
  • Fully remote position (USA or Canada and must already be located in the country)

Form CC-305

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
