About the Role
As the UK Senior Product Marketing Manager you will own the go-to-market strategy for Motive’s products and features in this market. This role is critical in positioning Motive as an industry leader in the UK and ensuring our solutions are effectively communicated to organizations that operate fleets. This role will be responsible for significant content localization and market research work to support the business in expanding its Sales and Marketing programs and content to these markets.
You will be confident in supporting a range of marketing programs to help Motive grow its brand and customer base in the UK. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, have strong attention to detail, execute efficiently, and be fluent in using data to drive decision-making. You’ll also be an excellent communicator able to build strong relationships across cross-functional teams such as sales, product ops/management, demand generation, communications, enablement and other teams to drive awareness, adoption, and revenue growth.
What You’ll Do
- Research and report on market and competitive trends that help identify Sales opportunities and inform marketing strategy.
- Develop and execute go-to-market plans, ensuring alignment with company objectives and revenue targets.
- Extend new product launches and feature releases, working closely with global cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless rollout.
- Localize company and product positioning, messaging, and value propositions that resonate with the market, and differentiate Motive in a competitive landscape.
- Develop sales collateral, presentations, and training materials to enable the UK sales team to effectively position and sell the Motive platform
- Manage marketing agency partners in developing and translating marketing content, including website copy, emails, and social media posts.
- Collaborate with demand generation and content marketing teams to create compelling campaigns that drive awareness and lead generation in the UK.
- Identify opportunities for differentiation and expansion.
- Work with customers directly to understand their challenges and Motive opportunities, and apply learnings to messaging, customer stories, and campaigns
- Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring that product development aligns with market needs, recommending roadmap decisions based on customer and market insights.
- Support localization of Motive’s platform demo for the Sales team.
- Work closely with global Marketing and Sales teams in both virtual and on-site settings.
- Ability to work from the Motive London office 3 days a week.
Qualifications
- Experience with a broad range of Marketing functions, including product messaging, market research, customer case studies, PR, product demos, and content development.
- Proven track record in driving GTM strategies, messaging, and sales enablement for enterprise or mid-market products.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex information in a clear and persuasive manner.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining a strategic perspective.
- Agile and able to adapt quickly to shifting market dynamics and organizational priorities.
- Ability to engage and partner with senior sales leaders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with preference for candidates with additional language skills such as German, Dutch, French, or Spanish.
- A collaborative and results-oriented team player who has a high bias for ownership and action.
