About the Role

As a Material Program Manager, you will lead cross-functional material programs from planning through new product introduction and production ramp. You will translate product and demand requirements into material readiness plans, manage supply risks, and drive timely decisions across Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Operations, Finance, and external suppliers. This is a hybrid role based in Taipei, and you will report into Jocelyn Chen (Director, Supply Chain).

The ideal candidate combines strong supply chain expertise with disciplined program management. You will have the opportunity to improve material planning, supplier readiness, cost, quality, and delivery performance across Motive’s hardware programs.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead end-to-end material programs across product development, new product introduction, production ramp, and sustaining operations.
  • Build and manage program plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and mitigation actions.
  • Translate product requirements and demand forecasts into material readiness plans covering bills of materials, sourcing, capacity, lead times, inventory, and allocation.
  • Drive supplier readiness and resolve material, quality, capacity, and delivery escalations.
  • Establish program reviews, performance metrics, and reporting to communicate progress and support decision-making.
  • Identify root causes and implement process improvements that reduce cost, lead time, and supply risk.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in material management, supply chain, operations, program management, or a related field.
  • Experience leading cross-functional hardware or manufacturing programs from new product introduction through production ramp.
  • Strong understanding of material planning, procurement, supplier management, bills of materials, and ERP or MRP systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex workstreams, prioritize competing requirements, and drive execution to completion.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify risks, evaluate trade-offs, and recommend effective solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build alignment across technical and business stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
