We are looking for a VP, Partnerships to lead Gong’s partnership team as the top line leader! This role will focus on identifying-recruiting-enabling partners to be more successful with our customers.
As the VP Partnerships, you will be responsible for developing an ecosystem of Go-To-Market Channel and Technology partners who use their skills to help our mutual customers transform their business through revenue intelligence. You will use your experience in developing GTM pathways to build an organization that will recognize opportunities, build solutions, develop necessary business operations, and align GTM with our partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute Gong’s partner strategy by engaging partners around mutual solutions (technology or services) that enhance our customer’s experience with the Gong platform.
- Partner effectively with cross-functional stakeholders across GTM, Product, Research & Development to execute strategy.
- Develop operational infrastructure to support our partnering efforts.
- Build and develop a team of world-class partner development professionals.
- Drive Gong Sales (both net new logos and expansion deals) through partners.
- Drive partner sourced and co-sell pipeline/closed ARR motions globally.
- Help with partner recruitment, onboarding, and training for partner lead Gong implementations.
- Managing partnership sales and channel management with referral partners, reseller partners, global system integrators (GSI), regional SIs, OEM partners, services and training partners, and technology partners.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience scaling a partnership organization from early-stage (low millions in sourced/co-sell ARR) to a mature revenue engine driving hundreds of millions in sourced and influenced ARR.
- Strong history of using analytics and technologies (e.g., PRM) to optimize partner operations and to ensure scalable, data-driven management of the ecosystem
- Demonstrated ability to design and operationalize scalable GTM strategies that drive exponential partner-led growth.
- Strong track record of building and executing co-sell motions and multi-year joint GTM plans with GSIs such as Accenture, Deloitte, and PwC.
- Deep experience negotiating and managing complex, multi-region strategic alliances with GSIs and understanding how to align their delivery capabilities to customer needs.
- Experience building partner ecosystems for startups – this is a hands-on builder role.
- Demonstrated skill in building, coaching, and leading a team of partner professionals.
- Project management skillset with a strategic mindset for the business.
- Ability to articulate to C-Suite members at Gong the 3-5 year plan for partnerships at Gong, and the key KPI’s we need to get there.
- Deep Experience driving partner relationships and pipeline growth for international markets (EMEA/APAC).

The annual OTE for this position is $400,000 - $430,000 USD.
Compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, qualification, education, experience, and location. At Gong, we have a location-based compensation structure, which means there may be a different range for candidates in other locations. The total compensation package for this position, in addition to base compensation, may include incentive compensation, bonus, equity, and benefits. Some of our sales compensation programs also offer the potential to achieve above targeted earnings for those who exceed their sales targets.
