As Director of Brand and Content at Gong, you own the voice, story, and creative expression of the Gong brand. Your mission is to elevate Gong from a category creator in Revenue Intelligence to the undisputed leader in Revenue AI. You will shape how Gong shows up in the market—through breakthrough campaigns, compelling content, and a bold, cohesive brand identity that drives awareness, trust, and demand.
You will lead a team of content strategists, writers, and social experts to build and scale a full-funnel content engine—from narrative development and product storytelling to integrated campaigns and marquee moments like Celebrate, our annual user conference. You will collaborate across product marketing, demand gen, comms, customer marketing, and design to ensure consistency and resonance across every touchpoint.
This Director role is equal parts creative vision, strategic storytelling, and operational excellence. You’re a builder who knows how to turn insights into big ideas and bring them to life across the channels that matter.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and evolve Gong’s brand positioning and voice across audiences and stages of growth.
- Own the company-wide content strategy, from thought leadership to product launches to customer stories.
- Lead creative development for integrated campaigns, executive events, and major moments (e.g., Celebrate, product releases).
- Partner closely with Product Marketing to translate technical value into powerful stories.
- Collaborate with comms, design, and social teams to ensure message cohesion and amplification.
- Build and manage a high-performing team of brand strategists, writers, and content creators.
- Use data and insights to continually optimize content performance and brand impact.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 12+ years of experience; A strategic storyteller with a track record of building standout B2B brands.
- Deep experience leading brand and content teams at high-growth companies with direct reports.
- Proven success operating at the Director level or similar, with strong cross-functional influence.
- Ability to balance creative vision with a bias for execution.
- A strong understanding of how to reach and engage revenue leaders and end users alike.
- Passionate about creating content that’s bold, clear, and impossible to ignore.

The annual salary hiring range for this position is $153,000 - $227,000 USD.
Compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, qualification, education, experience, and location. At Gong, we have a location-based compensation structure, which means there may be a different range for candidates in other locations. The total compensation package for this position, in addition to base compensation, may include incentive compensation, bonus, equity, and benefits. Some of our sales compensation programs also offer the potential to achieve above targeted earnings for those who exceed their sales targets.
