Job Description

As the Landscaping Divisional Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall success and growth of our Landscaping Division at Royal Lawn Service in Kansas City. This includes everything from project planning and execution to financial oversight, team leadership, and client relations. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the division's strategy and ensuring the delivery of top-tier landscaping services. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of landscape project execution, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of landscape supervisors, foremen, and crew members. Foster a positive and productive work environment that encourages growth and excellence.
  • Financial Performance: Manage divisional budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for increased profitability and efficiency.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and ensuring their satisfaction with our services.
  • Sales & Business Development: Collaborate with the sales team to secure new landscaping projects and identify opportunities for divisional growth.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control standards for all landscaping services.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all operations adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations.
  • Equipment & Inventory Management: Oversee the maintenance and effective utilization of landscaping equipment and manage material inventory.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in landscaping management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex landscaping projects from conception to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of horticulture, landscape design principles, irrigation systems, hardscaping, and plant health care.
  • Demonstrated financial acumen with experience managing budgets and driving profitability.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., project management, CRM, design software) is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
