The Opportunity

Good Inside is looking for a talented and strategically-minded Senior Product Designer to join our fast-growing product team. This role is a pivotal role that will help elevate the design of our mobile app, both delighting users and reducing as much friction as possible. As a Senior Product Designer, you will work closely with the product team to create intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing designs that help parents understand Good Inside, convert them, and drive habitual engagement. This role reports to the Head of Product. This is a hybrid role in Manhattan with three days a week onsite. 

What You’ll Own

  • Design Execution: Deliver visually stunning designs that prioritize functionality and usability, ensuring that every design element enhances the user experience while meeting business objectives.
  • User-Centric Design: Conduct user research and leverage both quantitative and qualitative data to inform design decisions and iterate on product features.
  • Strategic Thinking: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and engineering, to align design strategies with business goals.
  • Innovation and Creativity: Embrace greenfield opportunities to develop innovative design solutions that set our products apart in the market.
  • Prototyping and Testing: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, and conduct usability testing to validate design concepts.

Your Skills and Experience 

  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing mobile app designs for consumer products.
  • Expertise: Proven track record of designing products that drive habitual user engagement.
  • Tools: Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Jira
  • Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable design improvements.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and influence stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment, with a proactive and flexible approach to problem-solving.
  • Organization: Exceptional organization and project management skills
