The Opportunity

We're seeking an exceptional, innovative Senior Producer to be the creative powerhouse behind our podcast. As a critical member of our content team, you'll transform raw ideas into compelling audio and visual narratives that captivate, educate, and grow our audience. This isn't just a production role – it's an opportunity to shape our brand's storytelling approach, leverage cutting-edge content techniques, and build meaningful connections with our community through high-impact multimedia experiences. The ideal candidate will blend technical production expertise with strategic storytelling, turning each recording session and content piece into an opportunity for audience engagement and brand growth.

This role reports to the Director of Content & Brand, and is a hybrid role with three days a week onsite at our office in Midtown Manhattan. 

What You’ll Own

  • Podcast: 
    • Collaborate with the Director of Content & Brand to develop compelling podcast concepts and episode ideas
    • Source and book guests for the podcast
    • Coordinate and schedule recording sessions, managing guest appearances and logistics
    • Oversee recording sessions, ensuring high-quality audio and video capture
    • Manage production & post-production timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met 
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the podcast and grow our audience
    • Monitor analytics and audience feedback for continuous improvement
    • Lead a team of freelancers (video, audio, graphics) to bring the podcast to life

Your Skills & Experience

  • 6+ Years of proven experience in podcast production and content creation
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Media Production, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of podcast production, from concept development to post-production
  • Experience in managing and coordinating freelance teams
  • Understanding of content marketing and audience growth strategies
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders
  • Familiarity with analytics tools and data-driven decision making for content strategy
  • Creative storytelling abilities and a keen eye for engaging, shareable content
