The Opportunity
We’re looking for a thoughtful, detail-driven Content Operations & Production Associate to lead the planning and execution of our podcast recordings, live events, and video shoots. This role is equal parts logistics, production, and project management, with a deep understanding of how to bring creative ideas to life through seamless coordination and execution.
You’ll manage everything from initial planning and scheduling to day-of production and post-event wrap-up. You’ll partner closely with teams across Good Inside — including Content, Marketing, and Product — and serve as the go-to person for ensuring that every live or recorded moment runs smoothly, looks great, and delivers on its intended goals. This is a high-ownership role for someone who thrives behind the scenes, can hold many moving parts with confidence, and cares deeply about the quality of the content we share with our community.
This role will report to the Director of Communications and is a hybrid role based in Manhattan with three days onsite.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Production & Events Management
- Own and maintain the master calendar for all podcast recordings, live events, offsite appearances, and A/V shoots (spanning across social, partnership, and app content)
- Coordinate logistics across internal teams (Marketing, Content, Product), external vendors (production team), and talent.
- Lead pre-production planning: establish run-of-show (ROS), scout venues, manage contracts, and confirm guest bookings.
- Act as day-of producer for all recorded and live events — overseeing production crews, executing tech and visual QA, and managing on-site logistics and crisis response.
- Ensure talent needs are anticipated and met, including prep materials, props, hair and makeup, and at times - travel and hospitality.
Creative & Strategic Oversight
- Make sure every content and creative brief is clear, focused, and ready to go—so when it gets to the creative team or talent, they know exactly what the goal is, who it’s for, and what needs to get done.
- Optimize live events and offsite opportunities for deeper brand integration (i.e., leave-behinds, membership activations, books, etc.)
- Collaborate with internal teams to support community activations related to events.
Post-Production Leadership
- Own post-production workflows: manage timelines, asset reviews, and delivery across podcasts, video shoots, and live recordings.
- Coordinate with production partners on editing, graphics, thumbnails, and show notes.
- Support workshop content chaptering and GFX needs.
- Ensure all assets are delivered on time and meet brand standards.
Performance Tracking & Content Optimization
- Monitor KPIs for podcasts, events, and video content across platforms.
- Share performance insights and suggest optimizations to improve engagement and distribution.
A Great Candidate…
- Is excited about Good Inside's mission and is passionate about improving the lives of parents and children
- Has a bias toward action, values experimentation, and is more interested in finding the right answer than being right
- Values truthful, direct feedback, even when it can feel uncomfortable
- Is a driven self-starter; you don’t wait to be told what to do but rather look around, spot problems and opportunities, and share ideas you’ve brainstormed
- Is flexible and capable of doing many things (versus just one thing); our most successful employees wear multiple hats and are willing to take on a wide scope of responsibilities
What We’re Looking For in You
- You have 3 years of experience in production, content operations, or events — ideally across podcasting, video, and live experiences.
- You’re a master of logistics and timelines who thrives under pressure and has strong crisis management instincts.
- You’re equally comfortable on set, backstage, or behind a spreadsheet — and can move seamlessly between all three.
- You have excellent communication skills and are confident liaising with talent, execs, and production crews alike.
- You’re strategic and detail-oriented, always thinking a few steps ahead.
What We Offer
- Competitive Compensation: base salary for this role will be $95,000 - $105,000
- Company Equity
- Comprehensive benefits package
- 401k + Company match
- Generous time off and work-life balance initiatives
- Flexible hybrid work environment
- A high-performing team committed to transforming parenting
- A culture that values direct communication, embraces challenges, and celebrates wins
