Senior Manager, Growth Strategy & Business Ops

New York, NY (Hybrid Manhattan

Who We Are

Good Inside is redefining parenting - not as something that should “just come naturally,” but as a skill to learn and practice. Founded by Dr. Becky Kennedy and Dr. Erica Belsky, we combine sturdy leadership with innovative technology to give parents personalized guidance, AI-powered support, and a global community.

Our mission: help parents raise resilient, confident kids in a changing world. We’ve already reached millions, and we’re just getting started.  We’re refining our product and expanding our reach to empower even more families.

We’re looking for bold, high-ownership problem-solvers who want to build something new, tackle big challenges, and be at the forefront of change.

The Opportunity

We’re seeking a highly adaptable, zero-to-one operator to own and execute strategic growth and ops initiatives. You’ll be our first hire in this role - acting as a swiss army knife able to execute cross‑functional projects of all sorts - whether that’s launching experiments, optimizing core metrics, or scaling internal processes. You’ll partner closely with senior leadership to tackle our highest‑leverage priorities and deliver measurable outcomes.

You should be equal parts art and science, fully comfortable making data-driven decisions and also needing to use intuition to go after an opportunity. As a team of one (to start), you should be adaptable, comfortable with ambiguity and ready to prove impact from day 1. We see this role evolving into a team and this is a ground floor opportunity for the right hire to join, prove value quickly and have an outsized impact on the business.

You’ll work directly with the Founders and President on some of the company’s biggest opportunities - both those we know exist today and some that haven’t yet been considered.

What You’ll Own

  • Lead and drive high-impact growth projects end‑to‑end - from ideation to execution and measurement.
  • Diagnose growth and operational opportunities, propose hypotheses, and partner with Product, Marketing, Content, Finance, and Engineering to lead execution.
  • Build scalable processes and dashboards to monitor performance and enable repeatable execution.
  • Serve as a “utility player,” stepping into cross-functional projects, removing blockers, and ensuring alignment and momentum.
  • Provide structured analysis and decision support to leadership—clearly frame options, assess tradeoffs, and recommend next steps.
  • Drive rigorous post-launch retrospective reporting and iterate on successful initiatives.
  • Manage dependencies, stakeholders, and resources across multiple teams to accelerate outcomes.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of experience in growth ops, strategy, bizops, or consulting—ideally in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
  • Proven operator who thrives in ambiguity and can make decisions with imperfect information.
  • Excellent story‑teller backed by quantitative analysis, able to surface insights that influence cross‑functional teams.
  • Exceptional at execution—detail‑oriented, dependable, and able to move fast without compromising quality.
  • Strong collaborator with experience working tightly across Product, Marketing, Finance, Analytics, and Engineering.
  • Confident influencing management and frontline contributors; strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with subscription or SaaS business models, especially consumer-focused.
  • Familiarity with tools such as SQL, Looker, HubSpot, Airtable, Notion, or Zapier.
  • Background in consulting, investment banking, consumer tech, wellness, edtech, or mission-driven media.
  • Prior consulting/business transformation experience and/or advanced degree (MBA or equivalent)

What We Offer

  • Competitive Compensation: base salary for this role will be $125k - $175k
  • Company Equity
  • Comprehensive benefits package
  • 401k + Company match
  • Time off to recharge
  • Hybrid work environment
  • A high-ownership, high-performance, high-collaboration culture
