Senior Editor & Vertical Lead, Tween & Teen
Who We Are
Good Inside is redefining parenting - not as something that should “just come naturally,” but as a skill to learn and practice. Founded by Dr. Becky Kennedy and Dr. Erica Belsky, we combine sturdy leadership with innovative technology to give parents personalized guidance, AI-powered support, and a global community.
Our mission: help parents raise resilient, confident kids in a changing world. We’ve already reached millions, and we’re just getting started. We’re refining our product and expanding our reach to empower even more families.
We’re looking for bold, high-ownership problem-solvers who want to build something new, tackle big challenges, and be at the forefront of change.
The Opportunity
Good Inside is seeking a Senior Editor & Vertical Lead, Tween & Teen to shape how we support parents navigating one of the most nuanced and high-impact stages of parenting.
In this role, you'll own the editorial direction and content output for the Teen vertical; what gets made, for whom, and when, while partnering closely with our Teen Expert, Dr. Sheryl. Together, you’ll bring content to life across the app, social, audio, and live event experiences. You'll write, produce, and edit content in a hands-on execution role.
This is a hybrid role and requires 3 days per week in our Midtown Manhattan office.

- Develop and produce off-platform content in close partnership with the Social team, bringing editorial judgment to what gets made and how it shows up.
Audience Growth & Performance
- Grow reach for Teen on social and identify opportunities to expand the audience and deepen engagement.
- Use audience insights, engagement data, and member feedback to continuously strengthen the Teen offering.
Your Skills & Experience
- You write. You edit. You produce. Strong experience creating emotionally resonant content across written and video formats.
- You know how to translate expert-driven insights into clear, compelling, and useful content and have experience working closely with founders, talent, or subject-matter experts.

- You're highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities and drive projects from idea to execution.
- You're an avid consumer of social content across platforms. You follow creators, notice what works, and can articulate how to bring new ideas into our strategy.
- You're deeply curious about the tween and teen years and passionate about supporting parents through one of the most nuanced stages of parenting.
- You're deeply aligned with the Good Inside voice and values: emotionally attuned, nuanced, trustworthy, supportive, and always seeing the parent behind the parenting.
