About the team:

The People Operations team designs and implements strategic programs that align with our business objectives. These initiatives inspire and empower our team members, ensuring they feel valued and recognized for their contributions, ultimately propelling Goodnotes toward greater success

About the role:

This is the role for you, if you’re excited to work on the things listed below:

  • Strategic Leadership: Provide oversight and direction for compensation and benefits policies, ensuring alignment with business goals in a high-growth environment.
  • Compensation Framework Design: Lead the development of innovative compensation frameworks that attract and retain top talent while supporting organizational objectives.
  • Business Influence: Collaborate with senior leadership to influence strategic business decisions through data-driven compensation insights and recommendations.
  • Program Scaling: Drive the scaling of compensation and benefits programs to accommodate rapid growth, ensuring they remain competitive and effective.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with cross-functional teams to communicate and implement compensation strategies that support workforce engagement and performance.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct regular market analysis to ensure our compensation packages are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
  • Performance Reviews: Manage the end-to-end performance review program, seamlessly integrating it with compensation and benefits processes to enhance employee recognition and drive alignment between performance metrics and compensation strategies
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in C&B practices, leveraging best practices and emerging trends to enhance our offerings.
  • Employee Experience Focus: Ensure that compensation and benefits programs enrich the overall employee experience, support a diverse and inclusive workplace, and play a vital role in driving employee motivation, retention, and well-being, thereby contributing to the organization’s success.

The skills you will need to be successful in the above:

Must have skills:

  • Experience working with external survey data sources such as Radford or Comptryx.
  • Strong understanding of compensation and benefits policies and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven expertise in Excel or Google sheet.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have skills:

  • Knowledge of payroll, taxes, and benefits administration for the UK/EU region.
  • CIPD certification

Candidates with less extensive experience may be offered Senior Compensation and Benefits Specialist title.

(This role is based in London (Hybrid). We welcome applications from candidates located in the EU and are open to discussing remote arrangements for exceptional candidates)

The interview process:

  • An introductory call with someone from our talent acquisition team. They want to hear more about your background, what you are looking for, and why you’d like to join Goodnotes
  • A call with our People Ops and Finance team members to discuss your background more in detail
  • A call with the Hiring Manager to dig deeper into your skillset for this role
  • Panel Interview with a couple of cross functional team members.
