About the team:
At Goodnotes, we're on a mission to create the best medium for human and AI collaboration. You will join a talented, distributed Growth Marketing team across Europe and Asia, contributing to user growth and retention for a massive global user base, including our key markets. You will work alongside other marketers, engineers, product managers, designers, and the wider Goodnotes team as a part of the CRM team.
About the role:
We are looking for a CRM Platform Manager who will own the technical operations and strategic enablement of our large-scale CRM campaigns and management. This role is responsible for ensuring the CRM platform is fully integrated, scalable, and optimized to support data flows, user segmentation, and experimentation across teams, not only for campaign execution but to empower CRM use cases end-to-end for Goodnotes.
This is the role for you if you’re excited to work on the things listed below:
- CRM Platform Ownership: Manage the day-to-day operations of our CRM platform, including user data ingestion, custom event tracking, campaign orchestration, and platform hygiene.
- Scalable Segmentation & Targeting: Build and maintain scalable segmentation logic to enable personalized messaging across millions of users. Ensure CRM systems can support high-complexity audience rules with reliability and performance.
- Platform Roadmapping: Contribute to the CRM tech roadmap by evaluating and onboarding new features, proposing optimizations, and planning infrastructure improvements to unlock future campaign capabilities and better user insights.
- Experimentation Enablement: Design and implement frameworks that enable precise A/B testing and holdouts across CRM channels. Partner with lifecycle and product marketers to ensure technical accuracy and clean measurement.
- Cross-Functional System Integration: Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, and Data teams to maintain and evolve CRM system architecture — from user attribute pipelines to event instrumentation and cross-platform integration.
- Compliance & Data Governance: Ensure all CRM processes and data usage comply with relevant privacy, security, and data handling policies.
The skills you will need to be successful in the above:
- 5+ years of experience working hands-on with enterprise CRM platforms (e.g., Braze, Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud), preferably in a product-driven or subscription-based environment.
- Proven experience managing CRM platform maintenance, troubleshooting, and end-to-end implementation of new features or use cases.
- Strong understanding of user data flows, event tracking, identity management, and how CRM integrates with data warehouses or CDPs.
- Comfortable with tools such as SQL, JSON, API documentation, and campaign logic (e.g., triggers, delays, conditions).
- Experience working with Engineering and Product teams on data instrumentation, system scalability, and experimentation infrastructure.
- Ability to think proactively about CRM tooling needs and advocate for platform improvements that enable better campaign outcomes and user personalization.
Even if you don’t meet all the criteria listed above, we would still love to hear from you! Goodnotes places a lot of value on learning and development and will support your growth if needed.
The interview process:
- An introductory call with someone from our talent acquisition team. They want to hear more about your background, what you are looking for, and why you’d like to join Goodnotes
- A role-specific call with our CRM specialist to discuss your background and skillset for this role more in detail
- A call with your hiring manager. This is the person who will be managing you day to day, working on your growth and development with you as well as support you throughout your career at Goodnotes. This will include a live assessment.
- A meet the team call with 2 or 3 GoodPeople you’d be working closely with at Goodnotes
What’s in it for you:
- Budget for things like noise-cancelling headphones, setting up your home office, personal development, professional training, and health & wellness
- Sponsored visits to our Hong Kong or London office every 2 years
- Company-wide annual offsite
- Flexible working hours and location
- Medical insurance for you and your dependents
Note: Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background checks, including verification of employment, education, and criminal records.
