ABOUT THE ROLE
You think the world is pretty groovy. In fact, you purchased 195 goldfish so that you could name each fish after a country. You choose to live in your mom’s basement so that you can put all your money towards purchasing fancy globes. And now it’s finally time to integrate your global obsession with your career.
That’s because goodr is hiring a Global Marketing Manager! This role will manage and coordinate worldwide distribution and marketing initiatives so that we can grow across international markets. So if leading the charge on international programs is something you love, stop feeding “Switzerland” and “Ethiopia” their fish food, and instead apply today!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee global distribution and marketing programs for our international markets
- Assist with building strategy and tactics to help grow our global channels
- Foster strong relationships with global partners including gathering market insights, understanding partner strategies, and providing support
- Meet with global distributors regularly to discuss their performance and needs
- Provides onboarding, training, and support to establish effective relationships with global partners and distributors
- Responsible for managing international programs such as seeding and marketing new and existing product offerings
- Provide selling support for global markets, sharing weekly reports and product related updates
- Participate in analyzing performance and making recommendations for improvement
- Travel as needed for meetings and other events
- Researches competitor activities, industry trends, and consumer behaviors to identify joint partner opportunities that increase brand awareness and reach new international markets
- This role is in the Retail Marketing department and will report directly to the SVP of Sales and Marketing
- Perform other related duties as assigned
ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- May or may not have a degree...we don’t care (bonus points for Basset Hound Science or Dinosaur Law)

- 2+ years of experience in global program management or equivalent marketing program management experience
- Proven working experience with international marketplaces such as Amazon
- Strong knowledge in digital marketing and/or direct to consumer marketing
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Has a valid driver’s license
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- A rockstar problem solver who can coordinate multiple departments and hold teams accountable
- Dependable with the willingness to take the initiative to work collaboratively and with a sense of urgency
- Loves the work more than a paycheck
- Is happy to give away credit to their team
- Loves getting and giving feedback
- Is into personal growth
- Thinks Fun is being great (not partying)
- Is proactive and an independent problem solver! (Can you google a question?)
