Goods & Services is looking for a Senior Business Analyst who will lead a team of 5 BAs in Mexico City, collaborating closely with US-based Product Owners and the Senior Product Director. The ideal candidate will bring strong facilitation skills, deep expertise in Agile methodologies, and proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and MS Office. Experience in user story development, BRDs, functional specifications, and integration projects is essential.

Core Function:

  • Lead and manage a team of 5 Business Analysts in Mexico City.
  • Collaborate with US-based Product Owners and the Senior Product Director to align requirements and priorities.
  • Facilitate workshops and communications effectively in both English and Spanish.
  • Drive Agile processes, including user story development, BRDs, functional specifications, and integration documentation.
  • Utilize project tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and MS Office to ensure project tracking, documentation, and delivery.

What you’ll do:

  • Business Process Analysis and Improvement: Analyzing existing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing innovative solutions. 
  • Requirements Gathering and Management: Working with stakeholders to define, document, and manage requirements for new systems, processes, or products. 
  • Strategic Alignment: Ensuring that projects align with the overall business strategy and objectives. 
  • Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicating with and managing relationships with various stakeholders, including business users, technical teams, and external partners. 
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilizing data analysis techniques to identify trends, forecast future scenarios, and provide actionable insights for performance improvement. 
  • Project Management: Contributing to project planning, monitoring, and execution to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. 
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identifying potential risks associated with projects and recommending strategies to mitigate those risks. 
  • Team Leadership and Mentoring: Leading and mentoring the BA team of 5, sharing knowledge and expertise. 
  • Solution Implementation and Support: Overseeing the implementation of new systems or processes, ensuring they meet business needs and providing ongoing support.

What you’ll need:

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex business problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions. 
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information to diverse audiences. 
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to identify and solve complex problems, often under pressure. 
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in relevant tools and technologies, such as data analysis software, project management tools, and business process modeling tools. 
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team, delegate tasks effectively, and provide constructive feedback. 
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of lending business principles, industry trends, and market dynamics. 
  • Change Management Skills: Ability to manage and facilitate the change process when new systems or processes are implemented.
