About the job
Goods & Services is looking for a Data Architect who is responsible for leading our data architecture initiatives across cloud environments. Data Architect will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing our data infrastructure, systems, and solutions to support business objectives and technical requirements. We are committed to leveraging data-driven insights to drive innovation, enhance decision-making, and deliver exceptional value to our customers.
Core Function:
- Design, implement, and optimize data architecture across cloud environments.
- Develop and manage data infrastructure and systems to support business and technical requirements.
- Ensure scalability, security, and performance of data solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align architecture with business objectives.
- Leverage data-driven insights to drive innovation and improve decision-making.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and execute the strategic vision and roadmap for data architecture, in alignment with the company’s overall objectives and goals.
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of data models, databases, data warehouses, and data lakes to support data storage, retrieval, and analysis needs.
- Define data architecture standards, best practices, and patterns to ensure the integrity, reliability, and scalability of our data assets.
- Collaborate with cross-function teams, including software engineering, data science, and business domains to align data architecture initiatives with business requirements and technical objectives.
- Architect and implement data integration solutions, ETL pipelines, and data governance frameworks to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of data across all systems and processes.
- Design and implement master data management (MDM) strategies, data quality management processes, and metadata management solutions to enable data governance and compliance.
- Evaluate and recommend data technologies, tools, and platforms to optimize performance, cost, and scalability.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to data architects and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
What you’ll need:
- Proven track record of 8-years’ experience in data architecture, database design, and data management with a min of 2-years in a senior or lead role.
- Deep technical expertise in data modeling, database technologies, data warehousing, and ingestion frameworks.
- Experience with NoSQL, Kafka, Middleware, and cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Snowflake)
- Experience designing and implementing callable, high-performance, and resilient data architectures for complex enterprise environments.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability. To think strategically, drive results, and navigate complex technical and organization challenges in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred:
- Certifications (e.g., Certified Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
